When we first walked in, the manager could not find our open table reservations which I booked weeks in advance. The place could have better aesthetics, if anything the bar area looks the nicest. The drinks were outstanding and would come back only for that. The food…a disappointment. Started with beef empanadas, it didn’t taste authentic, just regular ground beef in dough. Ceviche, I don’t know why it’s black but definitely not worth it. The chips are so oily and thick. I had the red snapper, it was so overcooked, the side quesadillas and full of cheese and does not pair well with this. And the chueton was the chewiest overcooked steak I’ve ever had, we asked for medium. I wouldn’t call this a steakhouse! The servers are good but the food is not worth the price.

Westso is a gem! We have the best time enjoying delicious food here and the beautiful atmosphere. Everytime we come we are in awe that it’s not jam packed, because it is one of the steaks with a Mexican flare! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great time! We ordered the octopus, and the presentation was stunning! the flavor was just as impressive: rich, balanced, and delicious. The atmosphere felt cozy and festive, with just the right touch of holiday decor — not overdone, which we really appreciated. The drinks were also excellent. Definitely try the carajillo — a perfect after-dinner drink made with coffee and Licor 43.

We were very impressed by the food and service. The atmosphere is authentic Mexican. Service was fantastic. Jonathan and Shayla were on top of everything at all times and very knowledgeable. We had the bone marrow which was AMAZING and the grilled polpo which was also great. For entry I had the Pork Shank – the flavor was intense and perfectly prepared. My wife had the Red Snapper. A dish unlike any red snapper in a typical steak house style fish. Perfectly prepared and great flavor. Good wine list. Cherros were tasty. 5 stars. Coming back

First time at Westso and really enjoyed it. The server (begins with S but for privacy and misspelling will leave it at that) was really nice and informative and gave great recommendations. Followed thru when the food came with being attentive but not over bearing.
The food was delicious. Every bite was a knockout. The chefs definitely take pride in their work and it shows. Even the avocado slices were fresh and lightly seasoned. The carne asada para 2 was really good and more than enough for 2 people! The salad was fresh!
The ambiance was great, we had the place to ourselves up until the main course came out and then a few people came in. They have music (Latin) playing in the background enough to keep a lively atmosphere but not over bearing.
A really nice surprise establishment and will be back for sure to try their brunch and/or red snapper dish!!

They were able to create mocktails for me based on the original cocktails- allowing me to enjoy all the fun beverages they have to offer!

Westso Mexican Steakhouse was a great choice for dinner with family. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, perfect for a night out.
The steaks were excellent, the appetizers were delicious, and the drinks were terrific. Everyone in my group really enjoyed what they ordered.
Also, the service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing.

Romantic low light environment. Everything is black, and seams to just get darker as the sun went down. Food was unbelievable. Excellent, all very good. We ordered bone marrow and octopus for appetizers. I had the sky, land and sea and my wife the skirt steak. Meats were tender and flavorful. We both highly recommend. It’s a bit pricey but worth every penny.
