Sitar is a must try if you love Indian food. No set cocktail specials or menu but the bartender can accommodate most request. I’d recommend the platter and the curry.

Excellent ambience and service! Lemme just say, it was great to find fairly authentic tasting food on the island. We didn’t have a reservation and the place seemed busy, but the hostess was kind enough to accommodate us. If you’re in the Holetown area, this is an excellent option!

Been to hundreds of Indian restaurants and I would say this was the first time I’ve had curry that was packed with meat. Usually they are heavy on sauce but light on ingredients so this was a very pleasant surprise. Food was mostly good but little on the bland side for Indian.

Sitar was really great – the ambience was perfect, well maintained and set up for a quiet night of dining. We ordered the paneer tikka (which was a bit bland but was super soft and well cooked in tandoor) and the madras curry with vegetables (which was a bit strong in flavor, but we enjoyed it very much). Overall, the ingredients were very fresh and well cooked. We also got some drinks (wine and Prosecco), both of which were generous pours.
The rumali roti was nice and soft, and my husband loved the kheema naan. They also gave us some free butter naan, which is the softest I’ve ever had.
Overall, would highly recommend but be sure to get a reservation ahead of time!

Pass by this restaurant on several visits to Barbados, decided to stop in for dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised the w staff were incredibly friendly, but the food was the highlight exceptional. Been to India and I have to say this food was up there in quality every dish that we ordered was exceptional the naan was so good, curry was great flavourful but not too spicy would highly recommend and will definitely go back!

Found this restaurant while visiting barbados last week celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary the food was fresh nice and hot everything was perfect even was aloud to bring the left overs back to the hotel definitely recommend this place

Would definitely not recommend this place if you want to experience Indian food
The decor and service is good
Also very child friendly
But the food the main reason for coming was a total and utter let down
The veg starter platter tested as if it was made before and simply reheated had a repugnant smell to it
The Kerala prawns where nice but the tandoor prawns had no wow factor to them
The best thing we ate probably would have been the tandoori nans , we ordered garlic ones but they did not have any garlic taste to them
