My husband and I drove over the mountain from TN to try out Smokin’ Joe Lasher. My only complaint is that it took us this long to find this place. Although I’m originally from appalachia I was raised most of my life down in SWFL on the Gulf Coast. So I love sitting outside when the weather is nice and music. The food was next level. I know good wings and these were some of the best I’ve ever had. The mac-n-cheese was to die for. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich which he did with the garlic parm. sauce and fries. I couldn’t believe how fast he ate it all. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They have jenga, cornhole, hammock seats, lots of area for the kiddos to run and have fun. I love how its an area that all walks of life can get together for some good food and conversation. We even saw a family with a dog, which my husband loved. This is definitely going to be our new spot and I can’t wait to bring the family.

I just discovered this place today and it’s a pretty amazing little spot. It’s got an old chapel that can be converted into a wedding venue and when it’s not being used as a wedding it’s a place to sit indoors and enjoy your delicious food by smoking Joe lasher! I’m currently eating fish and chips and in my opinion it’s really good! Meal and a beer only 20$. They’re near the interstate if your driving through. They have all sorts of little things to make this enjoyable for all. They provide picnic blankets, a toy box for outdoor games, corn hole, fire pit, stage for live music, indoor dining & outdoor. Pet friendly & Wi-Fi is available as well. They’ve thought of everything!

Highly recommend for a quick lunch. The people are kind, and the property is cute. Some of the best bbq my husband and I have had. The ribs were fall off the bone and the Mac attack was amazing. Don’t miss out!

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service! Our family was looking for a lunch spot during our recent visit to NC. While searching, I came across Smokin’ Joe Lasher’s 200+ 5-star reviews. I’m so glad we found this place. Joe and Michelle were the sweetest and have really put together a gorgeous location. Lots of land for the kids to run around, games to play and a scavenger hunt! Several seating areas including picnic tables and a beautiful dining room inside a chapel on-property. The food was amazing. Everything was five stars across the board! Go give it a try.

Cute little spot! Fries were the best in my book. Lots of activities for everyone to do while you sit down and soak in the peacefulness of the area. BBQ sauce over the Mac n cheese had a kick to it, but my stomach is pretty sensitive.

This place is so peaceful..a nice surprise after traveling all day. Sit outside at a picnic table or below the silo… or in the gorgeous chapel they’ve turned into a dining room… enjoy live music by the creek and under the weeping willow. Highly recommend! Not to mention how nice Joe and his staff are!!
