Great food, generous portions and full of flavour.
The service wad impeccable.
We visited on a Wednesday night where they offer Any main, any side, any rice or Naan for £15.95.
You can pretty much pick anything you like from the menu.
We had a great evening in a relaxing but vibrant atmosphere.
Loved the soft music, especially the panpipes!

First time dining at the restaurant and must say the dining experience was top notch. The staff are really friendly, patient and helpful and the food was very tasty. We were given warm scented towels at the end of our meal to clean out hands and checked on from time to time to ensure we were okay. Real gem of a restaurant in Tilehurst. Thoroughly recommend

Went here for my fiancé’s birthday meal and when I say the food is good, I mean REALLY good. I’m not usually a fan of Indian food but this place had me savouring every bite. I had chicken pakoras to start, followed by the duck tikka (which I’ve not seen anywhere else) with a plain naan as my main. Best Indian I’ve ever had, no competition. We were all so impressed by the courteous waiters, delicious food and quaint setting. We will be back!

Decided to order from here for the first time and will not be making that mistake again. Ordered chicken tikka but recieved lamb tikka instead, you can see from the pics how small the portion was. I also ordered two portion of seekh kebab starter which apparently means taking two seekh kebabs, cutting them in two and voila two seekh kebab starters. Not worth the price I paid.

Came in tonight with a group of 6, service was absolutely phenomenal from the lads, I normally have a hot curry and tonight I fancied something a bit smoother and mild, and I can tell you the butter chicken did not disappoint. The BEST I’ve ever had. Will come again

Really lovely restaurant! I visited with my family last week and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We decided to go with the buffet and it was amazing, great range of foods and very tasty. Naan was fresh and mango lassi was delicious as well. Definitely worth visiting and I will be coming here again. Thank you to all the staff there!!

Visited the Sunday buffet. We visited between lunch and dinner times so was the only customers however the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The buffet had the usual bahji, samosa, starters, bombay potato, sag aloo and tikka sag. Basic choice of mild tikka and korma for the children/those who like zero heat. Then a medium, fairly hot and very hot dish to choose from (these may change on different days). My daughter announced it qas the BEST tikka masala she has ever had@

We have been to Spice Master several times recently and this evening tried their Sunday Buffet. The staff are always so welcoming and courteous and the service is great. The buffet was amazing. So much choice and continually replenished. You can go back for seconds and everything tasted fabulous. Such good value too. Highly recommend this local Indian. Never had a bad meal there .

Went here for my sister birthday. I wasn’t well so I only had 2 popadoms and 2 soft drinks
When it came to the bill there was no itemised bill poorly hand written on a scrap of paper. We were over charged by £27 which turned out they had over charged us for two buffets as two of us didn’t have the buffet also charge us for one more drink that was not had. We were also served by 4 different members of staff. They would not accept this and made us pay. Will not be returning and surly in 2024 an itemised bill isn’t too hard to be had. It was a Shame as everyone had a nice time but spending 35 minutes at the end going through a dodgy scrap receipt sort of ruined it all.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambience was nice and clean. But the food itself was very average. Our main course was in fact made quite salty. Starters were fine. Maybe our expectations were high looking at reviews but I really didn’t find anything special about the place. Definitely not worth visiting again that too from the city centre
