I came in for the first time today and right off the bat I was greeted with a big smile and amazing customer service. The lady at the counter Elizabeth was super helpful in explaining the menu and different options they have. I decided for the mix platter and loved the food as well. There are many options of great food around the area but most lack the excellent customer service and this place definitely has it. Just hope all employees have Elizabeth’s energy and charisma and this might be my weekly place for dinner.

Love the place and the food but you must have some new people working there. As a regular customer. For ordering extra meat everytime this is the first time ive seen this PLATTER not full. Im just dumbfounded. This is not what it is supposed to look like… Did we skimp out on rice or meat? (I started deating we skimped on the meat and i paid for extra)…. come on!!!!! I love this place, please dont let it go downhill. I can’t lose new york chicken and gyro as a staple. I am quite disappointed and frankly just sad about it.
I started eating and have to say that the 3 stars was reduced to 2 because I feel like the lamb has been sitting under a heat lamp for a few hours. The flavors are there especially with the sauce but the meat tastes dry and the flavors are not poppin.

Don’t come here thinking you’re going to get the traditional Greek gyro. The meat is cubed rather than shaved. Just thrown inside the pita with tomatoes and lettuce. We got it to-go because the music inside was too loud and did not match the atmosphere for this type of food. I hate leaving bad reviews I’m just saying what I felt. Definitely not a returning customer.

I know living in Pasadena is expensive but food doesn’t have to be. $19 for this tiny sandwich. Haven’t visited them in 4+ months. The sandwich used to be much bigger. Now its tiny and wheres the extra protein that i ordered? In reference is the tiny sauce cup. Never visiting NY Gyro pasadena again.

This newly opened Middle Eastern restaurant has a nice space and friendly staff. Two of us got the fish and chips. The fried fish was nice and crispy but we all found it too salty. The chicken platter had a nice flavor but the meat was shredded and chopped then was doused with their white sauce. It felt like there was nothing to chew. Perhaps, we will have better luck with the wings and gyros next time.

Love their food from their 1st store, some times I used drive 25 miles to enjoy their food. Glad they are expanding west LA (even though that is cloud kitchen )now Pasadena. WoW. They have little parking in the back. So that’s a plus. They added some burger items to their menu. Restaurant looks beautiful. They always do a festive decoration. This is my 2nd visit and probably the last at this location I changed the review to 3 star, because of the behavior of the employees. They seems like not friendly at all. There was literally no customer at the store that time, I asked for some extra white sauce and they are like I already gave you how many you want more and so on… customer service is really bad on this visit.
