There needs to be some kind of sound or instrumental to soothe the ambiance. The food was not bad. My only objection is the uninviting ambience due to silence. The cook was super nice. I think the place could use a deep clean as well.

It’s a bit off an odd little place. But the food was amazing, the bar situation was odd. It took probably 20 mins to get served while we were waiting to be sat. But our drinks were great once we got them.

Used to be a pretty regular customer, haven’t ate here in about a year and I will never be going back. Portion and quality has went way down hill. No soup with pickup order even though same price as dine in. For 17.99 at any other hibachi in the area you get way more Portions. Avoid here, go a block away to taste of asia
Update after opening box of food to eat there was a small white hair in chicken. Like I said avoid this place.

We love this place. I think they’re under new management and a new remodel following COVID. We drive from Charleston for the General Tso’s chicken. The staff is always been very pleasant and attentive. Which is saying a lot coming from a restaurant and a college town. Those kids have a lot on their minds and serving food is normally at the bottom of the list.

⛩️ When you walk into this place you are met with all kinds of Japanese feeling …Everywhere around you is beautiful in this large setting restaurant… There is a separate section for the hibachi grill and outside of that room there are many tables to enjoy your meal from if that’s what you prefer… The sake is delicious as well as the food that is served there… If you’re ever in downtown Huntington West Virginia make sure that you take your opportunity to visit this beautiful place… See for yourself.

I’ve been here a few times and it’s really good. While the Chinese and Thai dishes are pretty good the hibachi is definitely where it shines. The steak and salmon is easily my favorite and is a massive portion along with the edition of the salad and soup. Highly recommend!

If you’ve never had Squid Salad, do yourself a favor and try it here! It was amazing, and the portion felt very generous.
The sushi chef was also very generous with the fish on my Sushi Deluxe. It was a tuna roll (or a california roll!) and 9 chef’s-choice nigari. Mine included a good mix of some popular mainstays (taguro/tuna, sake/salmon, hamachi/yellowtail, ect), but also some more adventurous cuts (tako/octopus, hokkigai/surf clam, ika/squid). In particular the ika absolutely MELTED in my mouth. Amazing! Both the squid salad and the fish was very fresh and prepared well.
I was also happy with the service I received. My server was personable and attentive. He also didn’t bat an eye when I made a request that no shrimp be included in my chef-choice sushi selection due to a very mild allergy. He verified it when he read back the order and even re-verified it with me when he served my food.

The interior decors looks great and is very inviting. The sushi is not good I’ve tried it several times but there is always a weird taste to it which I can’t explain. The hibachi is very good though, so all in all I would still recommend trying this place out.

Best hibachi steak and rice I’ve ever had. The entertainment part of the cooking I’d give a 9/10, the chicken grease splashed alittle. The cook was friendly and cooked the steaks, shrimps, vegetables, rice and noodles perfectly. The chicken was a bit rubbery and chewy. Learned that I love ginger sauce with my rice. Other than my cousins rubbery chicken I loved the place and would return and recommend.
