Kingdom Baking is a locally owned bakery and coffee shop. We have pastries, cakes, desserts, ice scream, soup, salad, sandwiches and breakfast items as well as a full coffee bar. We also have our unique take-and-bake pastries called FreshMix available in store. Event catering and wholesale available. Joint us this summer at the Farmer’s Market every Wednesday from 2-6 pm (June 11 – Oct 1, 2025) – located in front of the Lexington Municipal Liquor Store.

I needed a cake for a gathering and prefer to support small, local businesses so decided to try ordering from Kingdom Baking for the first time. It’s a challenge to find any bakeries that make vegan desserts and I was pleasantly surprised to see they do! I ordered their vegan chocolate cake and it was delicious!! Even my non vegan friends were impressed and said they truly couldn’t tell. The price was typical for any vegan cake I’ve ordered from a bakery and the staff were friendly and informative!

Disappointed. The prices for the baked goods seemed overall high, especially given their size. I ended up purchasing day old scones for what I thought was 10 dollars as written on the container, but after looking at my receipt I see I was also charged a 10 percent service charge. A service charge for what? I just paid and picked up the scones off the counter. No, just no. I won’t be back.

First time customer today. Got a latte, and several items from their case. The folks working the counter were very kind! The chocolate croissant was DELICIOUS and perfectly prepared. Latte was strong and hot. Love they offer mini loaves of chocolate chip banana bread instead of slices. Haven’t tried the other two items yet but I have no doubt they will be as tasty as the other items. Everything was also reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!!

We ordered online and my son went in to grab it – there was a small delay but they quickly corrected it and gave my kids some cookies for the wait. The gentleman working there was very kind to my son. We loved our breakfast croissants! Will definitely be stopping here again next time we are in the area.

Great experience at Kingdom Baking. I thought it was a new place but they have actually been around for three years. My husband asked the cashier for their favorite and got the salted caramel latte. He loved it. I had the iced decaf Americano and really enjoyed it too. Friendly service and good drinks.

this was our first (definitely not last) visit. we ordered to go, i got a breve and my husband got a mocha. and we got several things to try (caramel roll, butter croissant, financier, blueberry scone, cinnamon scone, sprinkle cronut, chocolate chip banana bread).
our drinks were made on the spot and exactly what we ordered.
all of the pastries were fresh and delicious!
we each took tastes of everything. we liked all of the items and both agreed the caramel roll was our favorite.
the owner and staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
the prices are appropriate for the quality of the pastries.
we are definitely going to be back!

I’m so glad I found this GEM! Food choices are fantastic, delicious, and wide-ranging. Staff is warm and welcoming!
I had the Spicy Thai Butternut Squash soup with a baguette, and was not expecting the buttery softness of the bread, but oh myyyyy!! AND, I had a Cinnamon roll with HOMEMADE caramel topping!

An absolute hidden gem in our area!! This family owned business takes incredible pride in the quality ingredients and products they offer. Crafted from scratch with care and a friendly smile every visit. I look forward to coming here and will for years to come, I hope!

It sounds like you’re very price-conscious, which is understandable—especially since you chose the day-old items that are already offered at an impressive discount. However, this shop takes great pride in the quality of its products and service, and that quality is worth the price. Your comment about the service charge feels unnecessary, as it helps support the staff and keep a family-owned business running. And it’s worth noting, the 10% surcharge must be a thoughtful change they needed to make and it is clearly posted that this is in lieu of tips.
Sometimes paying a little more means supporting local people who truly care about what they make and sell that incredibly reasonable prices for the unbelievable consistent quality and service. You will get all of this and more at Kingdom Baking in Circle Pines Minnesota.

The gourmet grilled cheese is awesome- love caramelized onions! It was quite tasty alongside the soup of the day (tomato-basil).
The pastries are amazing, and perhaps the star of the show! The strawberry danish is full of flavor without being overpowering, and is the perfect intersection of crisp yet soft. Saving the other pasties to share later ☺️

The cashier said good morning and waited for us to ask her to help us. The cinnamon roll had little cinnamon flavor and the cream cheese frosting was overpowering and not good. The prices were way too high for the quality of the cinnamon roll. The overall place was messy and I do not recommend this place at all. I won’t be back.
