Meredith’s Bread travels the Green Market Circuit. Usually I steer clear of sweets, Sunday, I stopped at the UES market, 2nd, Ave, 90th. Mince pie caught my eye. Hadn’t had for decades. I grew up with Mince/meat pie, typically beef, suet & even venison up in Maine!” Meredith’s was a wonderful, lighter,, meat, preservative free w/fresh local apples, currants, citrus, orange peel & honey. It was so light & delicious. Will definitely become an annual tradition at the Holiday’s.

I’m super glad I recently discovered Meredith’s Bread at the Union Square outdoor market in New York. Impressive selection of delicious and fresh breads, cookies, and jams. I am glad I work from home on Wednesday and can get bread and pastries for the week and for friends at work from my new Meredith’s Bread friends.

Meredith’s Bread comes to the Corning Tower market on Wednesdays and they never disappoint! The gentleman running the table is always so nice! I asked for a suggestion on which to try and he suggested the chocolate lace cookies. Delicious!! My husband always enjoys the pies and the sourdough is great too! ☺️ Thank you for the great service and yummy goodies!

We stopped at the Peekskill farmers market where we saw a lot of delicious looking baked goods. I love guava pastries with cream cheese and had to have a couple. Unfortunately I was disappointed. There was hardly any guava filling in it and not a hint of cream cheese. To top it off we were charged almost $5.00 each. That would be pricey for a good pastry but it felt like highway robbery for what we we got.

I learned about Meredith’s on a recent trip to Woodstock, NY. We did not have a chance to stop in. I remembered about their Gluten Free baked goods before Rosh Hashanah. My father and brother in law are both GF, and I wanted to be able to provide them with Challah. Meredith’s ships, and it was very reasonably priced. I purchased a GF Challah, a regular Challah, cookies, GF Bagels, and a Sourdough bread. Everything was incredible. I look forward to going there in the Spring when my Husband and I return to the area.

Got a carrot muffin from the Union Square market in NYC!! Excellent muffin! Lots of carrots, not too sweet or cakey! Made with wholesome healthy ingredients. No BS ingredients. It was so good I forgot to take a photo before I ate most of it.

We tried some baked goods at the Farmer’s market in the Empire State Plaza! And I wish I hadn’t, because now I wish the bakery was here in Albany! It was so delicious! Moist, flavorful, you can tell it was made from scratch and with love! And it was reasonably priced too! We will make the drive to Kingston.. and stock up on a variety of things!

I recently stopped by Meredith’s Bread stand at the Walkway Over the Hudson in Highland and picked up two items: the small apple crumb and the small pecan pie. Wow—both were absolutely delicious! The filling was so flavorful, and the crust was perfect—flaky and buttery, exactly how a homemade pie should taste. I only wish I’d bought more because everything looked incredible. It’s too bad we don’t have such an amazing bakery in NYC!
The young woman at the stand was also very kind and polite, making the experience even better. I hadn’t heard of Meredith’s Bread before, but it’s now a must-visit for me. I’ll be sure to stop by their Kingston location next time I’m in the area—this bakery is worth the trip!

I am late to the party…just discovered your bread when shopping at Adams in Kingston, but holy wow! This bread is outstanding! It was one of those “eat a piece of bread in the car on the way home from the market” moments, the bread looked that good. And tastes even better. Thank you for such a wonderful product, I’m excited to learn/taste more!

Nopes. This Biscotti sucks. The amount of excitement it’s big beautiful look generates, the taste is a real downer. It tastes like literally sheets of moist cardboard, has no bite to it ( somehow packaged knowing it could get softish soggy?) and no flavor other than mystery wheat dust with raisins? I have made biscotti myself, had all the Biscotti’s of grocery stores and bakeries around and thought it’s impossible to bake a bad one. This proves me wrong. 2 stars since this doesn’t inspire confidence about other goods at all and haven’t tried anything else. Posting here since this really got me angry.
