Please note my original review and photos are from 6 months ago. Went here again with some friends. It appears as though either something has changed or it is under new ownership. We ordered crab rangoons orange chicken and honey chicken. The food all was served as it was prepared and it was hot, however that left some of us waiting for everyone to get their food. The crab Rangoons didn’t have any flavor or crab (or imitation crab). The orange chicken was mediocre. The orange zest was very hard and dry. The honey chicken was nothing like it was before. It had a red sauce and lacked flavor it obviously had red food coloring added and was not caramelized. The service was lacking, our water was never refilled. The server took our orders and when we told her what we wanted, she said “with fried rice?”, and we aaid yes. When we got the check, there was an extra charge of $1.50 per meal for fried rice we were never told about. The rice wasnt even good, there were maybe one or 2 peices of egg, no veggies and it looked like the rice was sprinkled in soy sauce. There was no soap in the restroom, how do employees wash their hands…if they wash them? We used to really love this spot and raved about it… now I’m not even sure we will eat there again.
I stopped by for lunch today. I ordered the orange chicken, crab Rangoon, and hot and sour soup. Hubby ordered honey chicken, crab Rangoon, and hot and sour soup. Also, I got an order of Mongolian beef to take try and also take home. The service was perfect. They were quick with bringing the soup out. The food was made fresh and was so good. It came out nice and hot. The chicken was breaded perfectly and nice and crispy but soft at the same time. The soup and crab Rangoon were yummy. The Mongolian beef was also delicious. The meat was flavorful and tender. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef to be able to take to work for a couple of days this week for lunch. The prices are so reasonable too. This is my husband’s favorite Chinese restaurant in the metro, and it is always consistent.

My family gets food here all the time. Since the new management we’ve definitely noticed a difference in quality for both the food and service. Today was probably the worst experience we’ve had.
As soon as you open the door you are hit with a wave of cigarette smell. When I went up to get our food, they clearly were not happy with me being there, and tossed the bag on the counter at me instead of handing it to me like usual. Super rude attitude, so don’t order before 11:30am I guess.

The Chinese lady was extremely rude. Wouldn’t let me examine the food that was prepared.
When I got home I opened to see what 5 of us ordered and the amount of food that I paid for for 5 people to eat was EXTREMELY disappointing. You would think if I pay 63 bucks for an order per person you’d get a decent amount of food. You don’t. I’ve been to other Chinese restaurants and they gave us way more than what we paid for.

Passing through and was craving Chinese. Place was highly rated. What a mistake. Patron beware! I ordered orange chicken, paid an extra $1 for white meat. Container had 4 tiny pieces of broccoli and less than 10% was actually chicken. 90% or more was bread filling deep fried in orange flavored sauce. Don’t waste your money. Highly sketch at best.

The workers were asleep in the booths when we walked in. They did not wash their hands after we woke them from their nap, before cooking our food. Their pop machine did not work and they failed to let us know that until after we ordered drinks. No refund.

They are always quick, if you live more than 15 min away it will most likely be waiting for you when you get there. I usually get beef and broccoli, egg rolls, ragoons, white rice. Ive also gotten several other dishes. All have been decent, nothing amazing but constantly average. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean.

Prices didn’t match the items I ordered. The girl behind the counter also seemed incredibly inconvenienced when I asked for duck sauce for my orders. She gave me two packets. I don’t care if sauce costs money for the restaurant don’t be stingy. I just spent a ton of money there to be given sighs and dirty looks.

The rice house is always amazing, the lady up front is always so nice, and always remembers me. Went out with some friends to dine in and the food came out fast, nice, and filling. I think some people are too short with them because their English isn’t to great, but I think they’re the absolute best, 10/10, would recommend.
