This place is awesome! I’ve never had a steak with cowboy butter but I gave it a try. Looked weird when he brought it out but once melted it was fabulous. I’m really critical of restaurant steaks because I can do better at home for less. However, I had three beers and an amazing ribeye with everything and it was $34.00. Bar is really awesome. Great conversation with locals. Staff was awesome. I’d eat and drink here again for sure.

I’ve been here twice recently. The service has been outstanding both times. The drinks here are also very good, especially the lemon drop martini. The food leaves a lot to be desired though. They should be absolutely embarrassed to serve French Onion Soup with an unmelted slice of cheese on top like this. They slathered my broccoli in a melted velveeta cheese which I didn’t ask for, but it turned out to be ok. On my second visit I had a burger that was just ok. But the drinks were once again very well-made. The decor is unique, but the lack of music makes for a strangely eerie ambience. The only music is coming from the cooks in the kitchen. They should have music or tv with sports on to add to the atmosphere.

This is probably the best restaurant in Ridgecrest. Such a hidden gem. Literally hidden in the lobby of the Clarion Hotel. Food is absolutely amazing. Do not miss out on this place. Had the Lasagna and was some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything is homemade. Great French onion soup. Last time I was here I had Lobster Ravoli that was absolutely amazing also.

Service was really good. The fish and chips were absolutely horrible. The Salsa for the chips was not good. The drinks were almost not drinkable. The shrimp fettuccine alfredo was ok at best. The blue cheese burger was ok. Charlie’s used to be good but is definitely not the same restaurant it used to be. I will not be back to dine here.

Street tacos looked delicious from the photos. What I got instead? Tortilla… and meat. No beans. No jalapeños. No pico. Just two street flour tortillas and asada.
Got four sides of ranch though??

I have been working in this city for over 2 years. Clarion has been the place I stay at . Recently, Charlie’s has been renovated, and so has a new menu. The dinner selection is a hidden jem in town. Rib eye is great, the new York is great. I always ask for hot wings extra crispy and the nailed it. Drea, Jasmine and Gerardo, were all fantastic for our meal. I do not have anything bad to say about Charlie’s.

Went here for a evening meal while doing a land tour.
We had chicken salad, portion was good enjoyed it.
Sadly this spoiled it.
I always keep my receipts when useing my credit card aboard so I can check them when I get my statement.
Very angry when I checked my statement today as I have been charged $10 more than my receipt states.
Shame on you.

Portions are large and food even the children’s plates are big I could have fed both my five and four year olds with one plate.

Ugh, food was horrible. They need a new cook. If the owners read this your cook needs to go. It was so bad neither of us could eat our entrees.
