I can’t remember the last time I had a dining experience quite like this, everything was seriously incredible! The staff are extremely nice and attentive, and the food is out of this world. I had all 3 foie gras offerings, and they were prepared to perfection. Rich, buttery, velvety, they just melt in your mouth and the ingredients complement each other perfectly. The truffle demi was one of the best sauces I’ve ever had. Great dirty martini as well!
Sitting at the chef’s counter was an absolute treat as well, they were a pleasure to chat with in between the delicious bites of perfectly seared and layered foie gras. I cannot recommend La Francaise Bistrot more, but make sure to book a reservation ahead of time on peak evenings!

So glad I found this place on google maps. My favorite meal during my trip to Breckenridge! We had the Escargot Casserolette and the Tartiflette for starters they were amazing. 10/10 if you want a meaty savory dish get the Saucisse Au Coutean it was so good we didn’t even get a photo.
The food was so good and the service was even better (yes that is possible!) our servers Rick and Margot were rockstars. They heard we really wanted a cast iron cookie and told the chef and he came out and told us he would give it a shot! He told us it was his first time and he knocked it out of the park! Thank you for an amazing evening!

La Francais Bistrot is on the small side (MAKE A RESERVATION), but brings big taste and terrific, friendly service. Not only is the food French (of course), but all of the wines on their wine list are from France. The menu is not extensive, but dishes are expertly prepared, just as one would expect for a French restaurant. If you like French food, or even if you just like good food, you will like La Francais Bistrot. This is another must-visit restaurant when staying in Breckenridge!

10/10 meal in Breck, and one of our favorite French home cooked meals in Colorado. The owner and her husband are absolutely lovely, the food is wonderful, and the ambience is super cozy! We had the frog legs (taste just like chicken wings!!), escargot on bone marrow, their sea bass special, and beef bourguignon.

We have a new favorite restaurant in Breckenridge! Our dinner was outstanding. We arrived without a reservation and were given a bistro table by the kitchen. We ordered the goat cheese salad to share, and it was out of this world. We got it without dressing; it didn’t need it. Yum!
We ordered two entrées: the scallops and a vegetarian lentil dish. Both were amazing. We finished it off with some of the best profiteroles we’ve ever had. We highly recommend this, cozy, French Spend per person bistro!

This place is authentic, quality, and unbelievably delicious. Truly one of the best meals of my life (no exaggeration). From the wine selection, to the appetizers (escargot with puff pastry and French onion soup), the mains (Conard a l’orange and the terre et mer), and lastly the incredible poire belle helen to wrap the meal, everything was standout. I wish I could go back and try everything. If you’re looking for an exquisite meal in Breck, look no further! I will add that for the fine-dining quality, the prices are very fair.
Lastly, the service was the perfect blend of hospitality and warmth. Both the husband (chef) and wife owners came to greet us and ask about the meal, and Rick, our server, was an absolute pleasure. I simply took all his recantations and went home fulfilled and with a smile on my face. I hope we are back one day to have another meal at this wonderful establishment

We are at Breckenridge for a weekend getaway and we went here for dinner. It was absolutely phenomenal. We had accidentally made reservations for the next day, and they were able to squeeze us in anyways. This quaint little restaurant was packed with cozy atmosphere and huge flavors from the scratch made foods. The service and hospitality were top tier. Everything from our duck fat truffle fries to the escargot and our beautifully crafted entrees were hands down the best meal we had while in Breckenridge. If you’re in the area run, don’t walk to get a little slice of France in the Rocky Mountains. Say hello to Isabelle the owner and maybe you will get lucky enough to get a few kind words from her and perhaps a table touch from the chef to make sure everything was to your liking.
Santé!

We have discovered one of finest French restaurants in Colorado and it is hidden away in Breckenridge. The atmosphere is cozy and casual. The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The bread is made fresh daily and melts in your mouth. A major feet at 9600 feet. The beef tartare is a generous portion and delicious. The French onion soup is magnificent. The braised short ribs with foie gras on top was excellent. The scallops were amazing. The chocolate mouse was rich and wonderful. We will be eating here every time we come to Breckenridge.

5 stars across the board! This is one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and the service was friendly and casual, which made the experience all the better. It was a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere, and the food was just insane. Between my husband and myself, we tried quite a bit. Bone marrow escargot for the appetizer, which was very new to us and mindblowingly delicious. I had a scallop meal for my main entree, and my husband had the duck. Both of them were melting in our mouths. We couldn’t decide which tasted better! And, finally, we had the dessert sampler. It had the mousse, profiteroles, creme brulee, a fresh made cookie, AND it came with coffee (decaf was an option)! Easily the best restaurant dessert of our lives. But, the entire meal knocked out socks off from start to finish. I highly recommend trying this bistro if you’re looking for a quality meal, even if you haven’t tried French food before. Neither my husband or I had tried any kind of French cuisine, and this was a 10 out of 10 introduction to it. I mean, wow! And, if all that wasn’t enough to convince you, for a small French bistro on Main Street in Breckenridge, I was really impressed with the prices. Very reasonable.
