Crisco sauce?
The food was SOAKED in what appears to be a TON of Crisco, an ultra-processwd vegetable shortening. In fact it is so ridiculously abundant it seems that someone was trying to use cheap Crisco to reduce the amount of actual Alfredo sauce which is practically fraud.
The photos of all of of the sludge was from only about 25 percent of the order.
I ordered lasagna and Alfredo pasta and the Alfredo was like cement and overly, overly rich. I couldn’t put my finger on it at first.
After putting some on plate it left a POOL of what I initially thought to be oil or butter. Based on taste, smell, and caking it quickly pointed to Crisco. And that came off only a small fraction of the dish! I have NEVER seen that after eating pasta.
The lasagna appeared a bit unfresh and burned.
Using such bad quality ingredients in abundance and mispurposed is alarming. I’ve never seen anything like that.

Good pizza shop. Crust was crunchy but still soft. Right amount of sauce and cheese. Reasonable price and clean facility. Would definitely be a regular if in the area.

This place never MISSES!! I have been going here since college and the food is PHENOMENAL. The presentation of the food has never changed. Look at the pictures to see what I’m talking about. The sauce is superb and they don’t skimp on that. The vodka rigatoni is the best around town. The pizza is great too but the pasta are oh my goddd . The garlic knots are fresh and chewy and soft.

Ordered a large plain pie and the contrevesial Hawaiian pizza for take out, got there at the perfect time as they were taking it fresh out the oven. The crust was soft with the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce ( sauce was AMAZING ) the taste was amazing and not greasy at all, did not feel heavy afterwards will definitely try be back and trying the rest of the menu !!

I came here because the reviews were off the charts. I was a bit disappointed. The pizza looks delicious but did not taste the way it looked. The pizza was a bit soggy and bland. 2 stars because the staff was very friendly.

You have to try their mussels. Very fresh and well made. An item seems not ordered very often but it is my favorite dish there. Usually pair with their fresh salad or a slice of Brooklyn pizza

This is a low key eatery and teenagers’ favorite. Extensive menu, large portions and inexpensive and really nice group of people work at TJ’s. The food, some are really good, some are ok. I don’t recommend getting grilled chicken on your salad, the chicken is dry and ruins the salad.

I may have ordered through Postmates and received complete incorrect food but when I call the restaurant and be polite and ask if they can tell me whether they gave the Postmates driver my pizza (very unique there would be no chance anybody else ordered one) or whether they gave him the sandwich and the Fry’s I get nothing but games and rudeness several calls never any answer and a complete lack of any ability as an eight-year-old child could say we gave the pizza or we gave the sandwich total avoidance by this management what a joke I’ll never do business with them and I would recommend you don’t either. I recently tried a vegetarian pizza that was incredibly tasty and fresh. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the cheese was melted just right. Overall, it was a delicious and satisfying meal. Highly recommended for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike!
