Had a wonderful meal at Fortune Express. I was just craving some Chinese food and I never expected the food to be that good. Literally, it’s the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, the noodles were crispy with a crunch and with the sauce, there was a perfect chew. The flavor was just…WOW.
The food was also warm and cozy to eat, especially during this chilly winter season. The portions were generous and there was even lobster in the seafood mix. The sushi was also wonderful, fresh, and has a bit of a sweet aftertaste. If you are looking for a Chinese meal, I highly recommend going here. I’m already looking forward to ordering soon.

THEY ALSO SELL KEYCHAINS, COSTUME JEWELRY LIKE RINGS AND BRACELETS, WHICH WAS A COME UP BECAUSE THEY WEREN’T IN THE RESTAURANT THE FIRST TIME WE WENT! I WAS CHECKING IT OUT.. I GOT ME A HELLO KITTY COIN PURSE KEY CHAIN! WE ORDERED FRIED CHICKEN WINGS, FRIED TEMPURA SHRIMP S, HIBACHI RICE, PEPPER STEAK AND ONIONS, AND A PLAIN STEAK AND ONIONS! THE FOODS WERE GOOD! I LOVE THE CHICKEN WINGS THE MOST THOUGH! THE CRUNCH IS THE BOMB ON THEM! WE GOT CUPS OF YUM YUM SAUCE AND DUCK SAUCES.. WE ALSO GOT WONTON SOUP AND CHICKEN SOUPS! WONTONS TOO

We placed an online order for delivery (so I can’t speak to atmosphere), which had gotten switched from 12/31 to 1/1 after I submitted the order so I called the restaurant and explained the issue that we had wanted delivery for NYE. I was met with a friendly voice who said no worries and switched the date. I was grateful for their fixing the error given how busy NYE can be and did call back confirm since I didn’t see a change to my order in the Beyond Menu app. Around 7:45 I gave a quick call as our delivery was over 30 minutes late – which was understandable given the day…I just wanted to make sure that our order was en route for delivery. I was assured our food was out for delivery and I again thanked them for everything they had done. Two hours later, we still didn’t receive our food. When I called again, I was told it hadn’t even left the kitchen and listening to the conversation amongst the staff…it hadn’t even been prepared, which left me speechless since I had been told it was out for delivery prior. At that point, I asked to cancel the order, which I was told would be done. Around 11:45, there was a knock on my door where I met a friendly face with a box of food, explaining what happened, giving the sincerest apologies with how they wanted to make it right, cooked the order and would refund the cost. I couldn’t have appreciated their service more at that very moment, expressing gratitude for their going above and beyond especially since it had also started to snow and was a bit slick out! I brought the order inside and while it wasn’t everything that we ordered (there were things in the bag we didn’t order that looked amazing, things that we did and a couple of items missing) we enjoyed a few items before the clock struck midnight. We will definitely be enjoying all of it today and because of their service at the end of the day, we will be sure to give them another chance on a less busy day. Just a quick note that Beyond Menu hasn’t shown the canceled order yet (even though I talked to them on the phone) so I’m hoping that is fixed on the restaurant’s end so the staff doesn’t inadvertently make the order over again for today since we have so much already to eat!

Great experience all around. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was ample, extremely flavorful, and fresh (we got the egg drop soup, both the hibachi and the white rice, the General Tso’s chicken, eel sushi, and vegetarian chow mein and will have leftovers enough for one person for the week while leaving very full and warm). The space itself is clean, bright, and well-decorated. This will be our new go-to Asian spot.

Fortune express is yet another example of when this old timey phrase rings true. The quality of the food is the best in Pittsfield, bar none. The teriyaki beef sticks were tender and delicious, and the sesame chicken stayed crispy despite a short drive home. Everything here tasted fresher and lighter than nearby competition. We’re willing to pay a little extra to come back again and again!

I order Fortune Express from Doordash. I almost always order the crispy Sesame Chicken. It’s always ready quickly and still crispy when it arrives. Their food is delicious and a good value for the money, as the portion sizes are good. I wish they fried their own crispy soup noodles, but other than that, no complaints!

We traveled from NY to Stockbridge. While milling about we were looking for a good Chinese restaurant to have lunch. Thank you to everyone who posted a good review because they were spot on. If we hadn’t read the reviews we would have skipped the place. The staff were so friendly the meal was literally the best Chinese we’ve ever had. I had the steak and veggies and the egg drop soup. They were amazing. My husband had the sesame chicken and it was the best sesame chicken we’ve ever had. It was crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle, and the sauce was epic. If you’re visiting this area and you want good Chinese this is the place.
