My recent visit to Eggs Up Grill left me with a somewhat mixed, yet ultimately positive impression, especially regarding the food’s quality. I was eager to try their breakfast offerings, and indeed, the wet battered chicken was a standout – perfectly crisp, well-cooked, and an excellent match for the hot honey. The seasoned fries were equally delicious, adding a satisfying crunch to the meal.
However, the main point of contention for me was the portion size in relation to the price. For what isn’t a cheap breakfast, I genuinely expected more food. Receiving only one very small pancake with my chicken, and an additional tiny one costing extra, felt quite underwhelming. Similarly, while my Texas Omelet tasted great, I found myself wishing for a more substantial plate given the cost. A bill of around $40 for just two people, without appetizers, felt steep for the quantity provided.
Despite these concerns about value, the service was generally good, and the atmosphere was pleasant, even with some ongoing renovations. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Turkey Avocado Club, and the home fries, while having a slight kick, were flavorful and very good. While the flavors are certainly there, I’d likely only consider returning if the portions become more generous or the pricing becomes more competitive. It’s a good place for breakfast, but the value proposition could definitely be improved.

Eggs Up Grill has been a breath of fresh air to the Statesboro community! Amazing food. I love the southwestern flair. The big question is always what to order, an omelette the size of your head, fluffy pancakes or a beautiful Belgian waffle. Good food is important, but at the end of day Service is the deal breaker. Service here is always impeccable. This morning I was greeted a cheerful smile by Ava, and always incredible service by Justin! Always makes my morning!

I go to Eggs Up as often as my wallet allows! My favorite breakfast spot in town, the portions are huge, the coffee is always hot. The service is incredible and the owner and manager are always stopping by to say hi.

Absolutely delicious food! Service was wonderful! Atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Menu was very versatile and had several various options for breakfast and lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch during the same times daily until 2pm. Addie was our server and she was super kind and offered several suggestions as it was our first time eating there. Food was delivered quickly and tasted wonderful. No complaints at all. We will be coming back.

CHECK YOUR BILL! My family and I went in Saturday morning. When it was time to pay the bill, it seemed a lot higher than it should be.
I asked to see a receipt and was told I couldn’t.
I left without making a scene and figured I’d call. I spoke to the Manager- Amanda I think on Sunday. She assured me she would call me back after the rush. It’s now Wednesday and I’ve heard nothing. I tried to resolve the issue they email as well with no response.
Now multiple different charges have hit my account from them.

When we got there some tables needed wiped down. They tried to sit us at a very close table and I asked if we could have the other booth, she got annoyed with me and said well I guess I’ll have to wipe it down! So she did alright with a very saturated rag.. oh K so we get over this, and our server, he seemed to not like people, or his job, anyhow my husband ordered the biscuit and gravy with 2 sunny side eggs, he cut into it and it was cold… sent it back the waiter brought the same damn plate back where they stuck it in the microwave…we busted out laughing and said unbelievable… we asked to speak with a manager and he said no manager is here today!! Unbelievable, sorry but if we wanted to warm up food in the microwave we would have stayed home not paying $15 for that..

This spot is fantastic. The food is great. Two weeks in a row on a Sunday I came in and had the corned beef hash and it’s perfect. I travel the country for work and it may be the best hash I’ve ever had. Today I also had the biscuits and gravy and it’s delicious! A must stop for breakfast or brunch!

I had a great time with friends here and the wait time for us was only 20 minutes for a table of 6. I got the Texas Omlet and I kinda expected more food dor the price, but it tasted good. Their drink was also really nice and tasted like orange juice. My bill with half a pitcher and tip was like almost 40 though. So on the expensive side of things but not a bad place to have breakfast.

My wife and I have been to Eggs Up Grill several times and have always loved both the food and the service. However, during our most recent visit, we were very disappointed by the service we received from our server, Justin.
He was unfortunately quite inattentive and came across as rude. Our drinks were never refilled during the entire meal, and each time we tried to get his attention, he appeared to be on his phone in the corner.
We don’t typically write reviews like this, and we understand that everyone can have an off day, but this experience was disappointing enough that we felt it should be brought to the owner’s attention. We still enjoy the restaurant and plan to return, but we hope this feedback helps ensure a better experience in the future.
