We had been wanted to come to this restaurant for a while and we finally did and it didnt disappoint. Food was delicious, service was great and the restaurant is very cozy and great for a date night. We had tacos de Conejo, tacos de Pato and tacos de chicharron de pescado. De Esquite was really good and the guava lemonade was amazing.

If you think you’ve tasted it all, wait until you try Emeli’s! What a spectacular experience for my taste buds. The secret? Those incredible, freshly made blue corn tortillas that give every dish that instant “wow” factor. A definite must-try restaurant!

Absolutely amazing all around! Got the happy hour Jamaicarita which was delicious, and then the Pato al Pastor and Cachetada de Ribeye. Some of the best tacos I’ve ever tasted. Service was also wonderful

The food here was amazing! From the taste and presentation of the food coming out! The service was very attentive with the food and drinks. I recommend the NY tacos as those and the duck tacos are the best in my opinion. I love how you are able to do mix and match.

For appetizer I do recommend getting the Brussels sprouts. Don’t get the corn because it’s way too filling for one person. Only get that if you’re eating with 2 people.

The food however I think overall is slightly over priced by $2-3 but it’s for sure worth the experience!

Elemi on Eastlake stands out as a true culinary gem in Horizon City. The location itself is a highlight, featuring a full bar that serves up some of the best, most thoughtfully crafted cocktails you’ll find anywhere. It’s the perfect spot to start your evening, with a drink that is as impressive as the food to follow.
We started our meal with the cucumber appetizer, and what a unique and fresh way to begin. This isn’t your typical starter; it’s a dish that’s so vibrant and clean, it perfectly prepares your palate for the incredible flavors to come.
For the main course, we had the ribeye. Let me be clear—this isn’t a steakhouse, but it’s hands down the best marbled, seasoned, and cooked steak you’ll find in all of Horizon City. This steak is so perfect, you wouldn’t dare contaminate it with anything like A1 sauce; in fact, I’d bet they don’t even carry that condiment. It’s a testament to the quality of the meat and the skill of the kitchen.
To complement the ribeye, the blue corn tortillas were a revelation. Made hot and fresh to order, they were simply wow, just wow. They are a must-have and truly elevate the entire meal.
To finish, the chocolate tamale was an absolute showstopper and an unforgettable way to end the meal. Elemi on Eastlake truly does not disappoint. Last but not least give it up to world class service from Jorge with the great menu recommendations and superb service. You will not be disappointed at Elemi.

I celebrated my birthday at Elmi on Friday and overall, it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as good, and the service throughout the night was attentive and friendly. The ambiance is cute and perfect for a special occasion. Truly, 110% a great restaurant.

The only thing that caught me off guard was when it came time to cut my birthday cake. I was informed there would be a $10 service fee because they sell desserts. I understand restaurants have policies, but after spending around $200 on food and drinks, it felt a little off — especially on a birthday celebration. It wasn’t about the $10, it was more the principle of it.

That said, the overall experience was still wonderful. I would definitely return for the food and atmosphere — just something to be aware of if you plan to bring your own cake.

I wish it was closer to me so I could go more! For starters, we had the corn (a bit salty), the Brussels sprouts w balsamic and goat cheese (classic combo), and the gringa, similar to an open quesadilla w al pastor, grilled pineapple, and some toppings. Overall, Good flavors.i ordered the Hemingway or “heminggüey” and the Tamarindo daiquiri. Both were too tart for my liking and had so much tajin in the rim, but maybe for others would be ok. Service was good, the food was unique and delicious. Al i also had the aros con Leche, which was actually Chia seeds in a coconut milk with coconut flakes, berries and toasted pecans. It was so good! Will be back when im in the area.

I heard about this place from the 50 Best Tacos from Texas Monthly and had to check it out since I live really close to it!

Had the Brusselas and the mix and match tacos plate, Conejito Pibil and Campechano with the caramelized quesillo (basically a cooked cheese inner tortilla, and the “Arroz con Leche” (coconut milk chia seed pudding). Overall, really good food! Pleasantly surprised and was full! My favorite was the Campechano taco with the quesillo. The Conejito Pibil, mentioned from Texas Monthly, was good too. The brussel sprouts and “rice” pudding were very good good as well. I appreciated how quickly the food came out after ordering, and the good service from the bartender, since I sat at the counter bar.

Definitely coming back again with the family!
