In 2024 we are only available for catering tastings and catering events. Catering is offered year round. Absolutely amazing! We visit Savannah, GA quite often and our favorite part about it is the southern barbecue. Big Ed’s is by far the closest to that iconic southern barbecue taste! We had the brisket chili, Mac and cheese and pulled pork with traditional bbq; absolutely to die for! We’re from Green Bay, but we will absolutely be coming back this way for more!

I ordered Big Ed’s for a company event of 200 people working different shifts. Jim was very accommodating and ensured we had plenty of food for the first serving of lunch then provided individually wrapped meals for the various work groups on later work shifts. We ordered BBQ chicken and pork along with several sides, Cole slaw, beans, Mac n cheese, and all were very good. I have catered several BBQ meals at our job site and Big Ed’s rated as one of the best, highly recommend and very appreciative of Jim’s care to ensure our event was successful.

Got to try out quite a few of their types of BBQ opening weekend. The brisket was amazing and nearly melted apart in your mouth. The ribs and rib tips had great flavor and their sauce was original and delicious. All the stuff is made fresh and is made in limited supply so get there early before the dinner rush to make sure you have the largest selection. Only open weekends during the summer for now but they do large orders and they can cater your event too. Glad to have local classic small pit BBQ in a small town.

We had Big Ed cater awedding “meet and greet” the night before the big day. Enough food for 80 people. Arrived on time, hot, and with all the fixin’s! It was so damn good the brisket was gone in under an hour. All of us were from out of town and at least half enquired who was responsible for this magnificent BBQ.
This place will now be on my short list of places to visit when I’m near Belgium, WI.

I wanted a sign on the bike path that counts the distance to Big Ed’s. Good pulled pork sandwiches. It’s a carryout restaurant with no good place to eat. There is an unattractive grouping of tables outside that is serviceable if it’s not too hot outside.
