Fantastic food at prices that are hard to beat. The team running this food truck is welcoming, upbeat, and clearly takes pride in what they serve. The menu has recently expanded, and the elote is a must-try—fresh, flavorful, and straight off the grill, just like the meats. Located in the Arts District, this spot stands out among so many nearby restaurants by staying affordable while delivering great quality. A solid neighborhood food truck with great energy, delicious food, and a vibe that keeps people coming back.

Fresh tortillas and a charcoal grill, what more could anyone want? Really tasty carne asada tacos. They also had a speaker out for vibes and the service was really nice. My only regret was that I didn’t order an elote.

This place is the pinnacle of LA street food. Meat straight off the grill. Elotes straight off the grill. Platanos fritos perfectly fried.
Near Angel City and Arts District breweries. Great spot to stop at before or after a night out.

First time eating here, came because of the reviews. Didn’t disappoint, reminded us of TJ style tacos – onion, cilantro, and guacamole. Other toppings that are available are sour cream, jalapeños, and grilled onions. The horchata has fresh cut strawberries, it was to die for – you can taste the lechera (condensed milk). Service was great & friendly. Atmosphere was nice, there were lights and chairs to sit. Nice to have a place close by all of the breweries for a great meal afterwards.
All had onion, cilantro & guacamole:
2 tacos de carne asada
2 tacos de cabeza
2 tacos de adobada
1 cheese quesadilla
1 horchata
1 water bottle
$38 (not including tip)

4/27/25 update: still the best food truck in the Arts District. They now have expanded their menu, which now includes elote!!! With the amount of $$$$ restaurants in the neighborhood, it’s good that there are still affordable places for us residents. Also, not only the food is affordable and great, the people manning the truck are such a delight and always seem to be in a good mood. Please continue to support businesses like this in the neighborhood
9/7/23 update: still open and still is the best taco truck in the Arts District

We are here 9/27/22 and they are definitely open.

We were in a very light line, and we ordered pretty simple tacos and it took close to 40 minutes. When ordering from a food truck, we’d expect tasty food but speed (if a sit down restaurant, then I totally get that it’s longer). But this should be faster.

I was visiting my girlfriend’s family in LA and she took me here. I came back two times because this place has the best street tacos I’ve ever had. Birria, cabeza, al pastor, everything is hand-made, fresh, and delicious. Next time when I’m returning from the Netherlands to LA I’ll definitely come back for more tacos. Also 10/10 guac and service. Heerlijk eten voor een goede prijs, een aanbeveling voor iedereen!
