Fishtail Inn Bar and Grill in Summit Lake is a true Northwoods classic! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect after a day on the trails or water. The burgers are juicy, and the drinks are always cold. A must-stop for great food and friendly service! We also noticed deer out back feeding through the back windows.

This is a friendly bar and grill we enjoy. They have friendly staff that make great old fashioneds and we chat with Dale the owner quite often. It has that cozy small town feeling, if you like that sort of thing. The burger with the brat patty is amazing which seems to be a Calumet county thing. Stop and check it out.

Great Food! Bartender was more attentative than our own waitress. Saw her twice, the first time the bartender had to go find her to get her over by to take our order. She brought our food. We then had to ask for the bill from the bartender. The waitress came put the bill on the table with an attitude left and never came back. That’s why I’m only giving this place 2 stars. Call in order and pick up and leave then you won’t get crappy service!

We’re camping at Calumet Park this weekend and decided to go to fishtail inn for dinner. I had the seafood platter and my husband had the cod. For a tavern the food was really good, the service was excellent. My husband felt more at home than he had in a long time at this bar. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and atmosphere. Met the owner Dale and for only being in the business a couple of years he’s got it together. My experience was a Friday fish fry and with a full salad bar included we sure recieved our monies worth. I highly recommend stopping in and supporting Dale ☆☆☆☆☆

I did not eat a full meal here because the kitchen was closed in the afternoon when I arrived from my Airbnb by bicycle. I found a friendly local bar with a good selection of beers, and a very delicious cup of chicken noodle soup, which was exactly what I stopped, for I stopped for. Based on my experience, I would try a full meal there, but check on their kitchen hours first, because the bartender told me that good help was in short supply.
