I placed an order of 22 sandwiches for a large group a couple days ahead of time and Paisley Hippo was incredible! The sandwiches were delicious, reasonably priced. The staff labeled every sandwich clearly and packed everything up nicely with napkins and utensils. There were plenty of options for our vegan and vegetarian friends. Will definitely be back!

First time trying it out. Nice menu selection, and we’re very accommodating with customizing a sandwich.
Bread is nothing special, but the turkey is great, the bacon was perfectly cooked, their selection of aiolis are refreshing and the dill pickles are delicious.
All for a great price in a tough economy.
Little out of the way for my but totally worth the trip, hope to be back soon.

Love it! The people are friendly and helpful and service is fantastic. The food is always delicious! The fries are literally the best! The one time they ever got my order wrong was when someone with the same name picked up, and it was early on in the pandemic when restaurants were still feeling out what they needed to do to make things work. They were quick to fix everything even after they had closed for the night, and they didn’t even charge me a penny for my order and removed the charge for the wrong order. Otherwise they have always gotten everything perfect when I order. Lastly, I love that they have a rewards program to get a free sandwich. They are definitely worth ordering from time and time again.

Man, I really used to love this place. Top notch sandwiches. And amazing apps. But their service and lack of business hours make it impossible for us to go there. We loved to get take out on busy weeknights at least a couple of nights a month when my husband worked late. But now they close at 6, which is prime dinner time. On top of that, their message says they stop taking orders at 5:45. Called at 5:44, straight to voicemail. On top of that, the one time we could actually make their ridiculous hours, they were just randomly closed. Huge bummer but they’ve sadly lost a loyal patron of 10+ years.

Phone message said they stop taking phone orders at 5:45. I called at 5:37 and they didn’t answer. I thought maybe they were busy so I guess I’ll just go over and place my order there. I walk in at 5:43 and the place is empty. I asked them if I can place an order and they hesitate and say no at first, then they make me feel guilty as they say they’ll make it. Then after they say they’ll make the sandwich they rush through it without even putting any gloves on. If you’re going to agree to make food for someone, at least have the decency and respect to make it the way you normally do. If I had come any later I would have understood not wanting to take anymore orders that soon before closing, but showing up to place an order before their message says they stop taking phone orders? Making the customer feel guilty for ordering food is not the way to go.
