First time here and it was a great experience. We did outside dining. The tables were spaced out enough to feel comfortable. My waiter was committed to staying arm’s length away lol Any other time I would’ve been like, Do we stink? But I totally appreciate it due to Covid! Lol The fish tacos are amazing! I also had a pesto chicken sandwich that was good. Overall, would go again and recommend!

Hosted a birthday party for about 28 people including kids. The service staff was attentive and responsive to emails and to my calls when I had questions. Here are pictures. The food that we ordered from the party package #2 was terrific. We brought our sound bar to play music from my own playlist. There is an option to have music provided by the bar/restaurant if you want. I would return to host another party. Much recommended.

Charged $40 for 2 orders of chicken fingers and fries. This is what we received. No receipt was sent with our delivery, called for refund and was told “there’s no way I can do a refund”. I highly suggest you order elsewhere before wasting your money here.

I really liked this place when I discovered it on Uber eats. Food was always delicious. But I ordered the Strawberry Almond salad and it had a bug in it. I question their Quality and cleanliness now. 🙁

We always order the garlic chicken Parmesan and I’m usually a huge fan! Today I ordered the same dish and it was clearly burnt and dried out completely, there was no flavor of the balsamic drizzle on top and frankly it tasted like it was old and has been sitting out under the heat for hours so I called to relay that information to the restaurant. The owner starts to argue with me telling me that I’m wrong and that he knows that dish is always prepared correctly he went back and talk to the chef and got back on the phone with me telling me it’s the balsamic drizzle that’s makes it look dark. I explained that we flipped the chicken and the underside was burnt, and basically called me a liar and told me “next time if you’re not happy go to KFC lady!” And hung up on me. You tell me if this looks burnt or not? He refused to do anything about it and was not willing to even look at the picture or have us bring in the food so we can get a fresh meal even though we spent over $40 for this meal using Grubhub. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life and he just lost a very valuable customer as we spend a lot of money ordering from there and that will not be the case any longer!

Came here for a meet up with a few friends here’s my take:
Pros:
•Outdoor patio is amazing and beautiful (we chose not to sit there since it was really hot that day)
•Big portions as you can see from the photo (I took half home for later)
•TVs inside so I watched some games
•Bartender was attentive
Cons:
•Parking: there’s street parking which took me a bit of time to find and I had to walk a block or so
•Main entrees took a bit of time to come out but the appetizers were fairly fast

I am new to Bayonne and stumbled onto this place by accident, but what a find! I’ve eaten there about 5-6 times, and every time I walk away amazed. The menu includes most of your typical bar food favorites, but each with superior ingredients and cooked with finesse. No detail is overlooked and everything comes out perfect. The Chicken Balsamic Pesto sandwich is one of my favorites and includes roasted red peppers and mozzarella. Huge portion, moist chicken, and every ingredient proportioned for the perfect blend of flavors. …And it comes with the best fries I’ve ever had.
The menu includes more sophisticated dishes as well and has something for everyone, and the daily specials are not to be missed. I haven’t had their pizza or any of their deserts yet but, everyone I see ordering them has a huge smile on their face after the 1st bite.

This place is a short distance from the 8th street Light Rail Station, and certainly “Worth a Detour”.
