I decided to give it another try … I wanted some chicken livers so badly. No one in my area sold them. I drove all the way to Independence, La to get some from Lisa’s..I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED . My livers were cooked to perfection. The front cashier was so nice and helpful. I will be going back again soon.

Smallest poboy I have ever seen. Over priced. Menu online is outdated. Everything is a lot more expensive than listed. Very small hamburger patties don’t fit the bun.

I must say the customer service is amazing the lady at the counter is so sweet! So I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and because I just had my teeth pulled I couldn’t eat the chicken unfortunately so I went to go order something else without thinking about asking for a refund or anything and she asked what was wrong I told her i had my money out ready to buy some nuggets and she said that she would give me a refund and I said no thankyou and she offered to replace the food so I agreed but only if she didn’t mind and she said not at all! So she said something about giving me the meal again and I said I had gotten my fry’s already and she said she would give me another order for free!! I couldn’t help but to think oh my goodness best customer service I’ve had in a very long time. Very wonderful business and the food is always delicious!! She’s running a proper drive up restaurant. The prices are affordable not high like everywhere else nowadays. Thankyou for wonderful service and she’s always with a smile!

Lisa’s is my family’s favorite drive-in.
I. ordered a chicken strip dinner with fries, a salad, and a drink. The chicken strips were very crispy, just the way I prefer my chicken to be fried. Furthermore, the strips were well-seasoned; too much for my personal taste, but my husband liked them. The fries were regular fries, my husband ate those too and the very small salad consisted of lettuce and tomatoes; definitely not what I anticipated. The drink I received was filled with a sufficient amount of ice and had a strong taste. Above all else, the worker who took our order waited patiently while we decided what to order. She was also very sociable. Would I recommend Lisa’s? Most definitely; the hamburgers are delicious, made from real ground beef, and are not greasy. Lisa’s fried fish is a must-try too.

What ever you do never get the roast beef poboy period! I spent 12+ on this sandwich. It was made in maybe 5 minutes. That was my red flag. No roast beef poboy can be made in that time. It tasted like plastic definitely not real roast beef. Not saying that other things are bad.
