We popped in for a fast lunch, and found this classic “diner” a great pick. Food is made fresh, so we had to rush a bit. But good food and portions, and nice staff. Will go back!

This is such a cool diner the food was fantastic. The price was in my opinion beyond reasonable I was feeding three hungry adults that could eat a cantaloupe a piece as a treat. Most importantly, however the service is top notch. Kind, professional friendly. Just an overall great experience

I grabbed breakfast to go from Burger Hut, and it truly hit the spot. I’ve seen a few people complain about the service, and maybe that’s accurate depending on the day, but ordering takeout was definitely the move for me. Service was just fine at my house.
The homefries were exactly the kind I love—soft and satisfying. Their system offered unseasoned and seasoned, and in my opinion, seasoned was the right call. Adds that perfect touch. Scrambled eggs with cheese were basic, but exactly what I wanted. The sausage patty was solid and classic. I recently had a farm-raised “fancy” sausage that was supposed to be” better”, but it was honestly weird. This was just a regular sausage patty done right—no frills, just good flavor.
Now, I ordered a blueberry pancake, but ended up with a regular one. Slightly disappointing at first, but once I added the butter, it was delicious. So no reason to take off a star. It all left me feeling full and satisfied.
As for the burgers… one time I ate at their other location, Burger Hut 2, and I was starving when I went in. I walked out feeling like I’d just had one of the best bacon cheeseburgers of my life. I’ve seen reviews saying they use too much mayo—I just ask for it on the side and fix it how I want.
If you’re worried about the service, just eat it at your own table like I did. Food traveled well, they were super nice when I asked for ketchup and butter, and in my experience, the brief interaction I had with the staff was pleasant. For me, takeout from Burger Hut was a total win. Simple, satisfying, and exactly what I was craving.

Update: their service has not got any better. The place smells like a grease pit. It seems like they’ve selected their wait staff and cooks from the worst of any applicants. You don’t get greeted with a smile. Their selection is awful and their hours are literally not anything close to what’s posted. They have a paper bag on the door that you have to update yourself on weekly. How this place is still operating? I’m not sure…. they have to be in the red!

They then make you feel bad for complaining when you show them their mistake. The wait staff rarely is attentive, mostly on their phone or smoking outside directly infront of the only entrance to the place.

I had a light b-fast and it was perfect. The cook was laid back and an easy going guy. The waitress was pleasant and quick with the coffee and food. Very nice little place that just feels like a “Good Ole Folks” kinda mom and pop Cafe.

Disappointed in the quality of service. It took thirty minutes to get a drink refill and the staff seemed to be more focused on closing than its customers. The server only checked in on us once when she had to take our dishes. My sausage biscuits and gravy come out cold, which seem to be normal per the previous reviews. This used to be a place where I would enjoy meals as I come regularly with my boyfriend. Now I am no longer coming as the standards have sank down so low. Some staff are rude and don’t focus on customer satisfaction. I’ve even caught the cook and server making out at times and blaring rap music (night shifts-the morning staff are typically more focused, diligent, and friendly). I’ve worked in food service for many years and this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I’m never coming back.
