This is my first and last time coming here. I’m sorry but what is that!? I got OLD chicharrón. I called before I got to the store to ask if they had chicharrón with carne and the lady said “si, acaba de estar listo,” what do you mean? This chicharrón is DAYS old, it was so hard. No salt, no flavor at all.

LOVE this place!! So glad I found it. From a small window in the back of this market/butcher comes the most amazing food. Wet Chile Verde burrito is enough for 3 lunches for me and cooked slowly. I’ve had tacos with several meats all of which I devoured. The Cabeza is so tender and fatty – my favorite so far. I’m a white guy, so I can’t tell you if its authentic, but I can tell you I get cravings for them weekly and there are some beautiful ladies cooking in back who I adore.
The market and butcher are an added bonus. You can get some spices, meat and crunchy treats while you wait for your order.

Absolutely love the meat and salsa here. Selection is limited but prices are great. Staff is friendly and are mostly able to communicate in English (my Spanish is terrible). Always a quick visit, which is a huge plus. However, parking often is a pain.

This store is been there for years, since I was a teenager. The first time that I went it was on 1985 The grill chicken is delicious well done. Tortas are really good and cheap, The menudo is so good the way I like it my wife loves it too . The lady who prepare food is so friendly and kind. All the prepared food is inexpensive . The menudo ,tortas y carnitas are way cheaper than in other places .
