The meal was good but if you are watching your sodium intake then this is not the place for you. I tried the Hunan Beef and my companion had Beef Pepper Steak. We both agreed that the meal was salty.

Ordered broccoli and tofu with garlic sauce and my husband ordered chicken with broccoli. Ate in the restaurant. Rewarded with generous portions of absolutely delicious food. Broccoli was crunchy and cooked to perfection. Sauce was incredible. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Located just outside of Short Pump in Manakin-Sabot. We tried this place on a whim. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The food is good. They have good portion sizes. They offer lunch specials daily from 11AM-2:30PM. You can order online or by phone.
I only removed one star because the spring roll is fried unlike other Chinese restaurants ive been to, do this was disappointing and it was soggy. Please see photo below. Otherwise, food and service is good.

First time here. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli. And it was delicious. Shrimp cooked to perfection. And the flavor of the sauce was very good. This is the best shrimp and broccoli I have had in VA. I live in Richmond and would surely come back to try other dishes. I love Chinese food and have been so disappointed in the food I have had at other places. I am happy that my experience was great and I will be back for sure.

Yu’s is a great little spot. I have only had take out here but I feel like the ingredients are higher quality. The General Tso’s chicken is always on point and I love the sauce so I always order extra. The only thing I wish is they put more wontons in the large wonton soup. Always have to order extra for it to be close to a normal portion.

This is the best Chinese food in Richmond. I’ve turned people on to Yu’s that live 15 minutes or so away, and they will drive there to pickup orders multiple times a month.
It’s my Dad’s favorite restaurant when he comes to visit. My wife loves their shrimp & broccoli. I like either the Hunan, Szechuan or Kung Pau chicken.
They’re always doing a ton of take out orders, so if you want to eat in I’ve never seen it that crowded. And take out is amazing, tons of food at a great price.

After reading about how amazing Yu’s is on Facebook and Google, I had to try it. Unfortunately I was terribly disappointed.
First off, we arrived today around 2:30 in the afternoon, nobody else was there, when we walked in the older lady behind the cash register either didn’t see us or was ignoring us and we had to speak to her first, a couple times, to get her attention.
Second, the entire time we were attempting to order she was rushing us to complete our order.
Third, I ordered Mu Shu Pork and received Chicken Fried Rice but did get the pancakes and plum sauce of the Mu Shu Pork. Being hungry I ate the Chicken Fried Rice and could tell it should have tasted good, however it was pretty dry and over cooked.
All in all I would love to give it another try since I here it’s supposed to be the best Chinese around, but I think I will pass on the whole experience.

Food is good but the front service is not too friendly. Ask for extra sauce or plastic silverware when you have already ordered and paid for food can result in a frown. Pretty cheap and chintzy in that respect. Overall, it is fine but do not expect outstanding customer service.
