First time ever going there yesterday with a friend who suggested it. DELICIOUS! Had house fried rice. Shrimp cooked too perfection! The lady at the register was so sweet and attentive. I’ll definitely be back!

I paid $17 for 10 wings and chicken friend rice. Pretty pricy but that’s not the issue. I called them and brought up that the Chicken tasted old. It just didn’t taste old it looked old. I just wanted to get something or swap it out but I was told no. This is my first review I’ve ever done on google and I had to do it for the way I was treated… after being nice to them. I definitely wouldn’t go back.

Recently bought 2 orders of sweet & sour chicken for my wife and I and it was horrible! The chicken was hard and tough like it had been leftover and refried to seem fresh. The rice tasted burned, and the sweet & sour sauce was definitely old, watery, and thin! The egg rolls were fresh and I feel like I paid $25 dollars for 2 egg rolls. This was my first time going so you know I won’t be going back! Would not recommend!!!!!!

It’s been a moment since I have visited Hong Kong Garden and today I decided to visit since it’s been a while. To my surprise they recently restarted their buffet post pandemic. I roughly paid $16 plus change because of the added drink(The buffet is $14 plus with a water). The buffet had a handful of popular selections from menu but each item was hot and freshly made, as well as delicious. I’m hoping they add more items soon. The restaurant was very clean and peaceful as always. The customer service was done with a smile. The health score at this restaurant is always good and the owners always keeps their restaurant looking immaculate. The buffet is from Sunday to Friday from 11am to 2pm. They’re closed on Saturday. You won’t be disappointed.

I only get takeout for restaurant is small. Good food but overpriced like all restaurants here in Macon. My faves are the egg drop and hot and sour soups, lo mein and shrimp dishes. Nice lady works the counter and brings you your food. Very good amount of sauce packets, plastics and napkins. My family goes here a lot for we live close by.

I think they embody the very meaning of the American dream as a small business, hard work,friendly service and a great product.
I’ve also read one other review about being charged different prices for the same thing…. my orders are always the same price, I’ve been a custom for almost five years now.

I ordered the sesame chicken today and it might be the best I’ve had. The chicken was practically perfect. It still had the satisfying crunch fried chicken is known for. (Most places the chicken is just soft) The taste was on point. Hoping this wasn’t just a fluke and next time I come I can get the same satisfaction.

First time tasted like soap and I got terribly ill.
Second time was fine.
Third time, again, I got incredibly ill and almost went to the ER.
I don’t like being negative. But twice I’ve had food from here that made me more than just simple food poisoning level of sick. The third time i ate there was on a friday, symptoms occured several hours after: My temp skyrocketed, I had tightness on my chest, I was dizzy, I had abdominal and back pain, I was bed ridden for an entire Saturday. I was still not 100% the following Sunday evening.
The lady at the front is very nice. Her service is a 5. But the service from the kitchen or maybe old ingredients, I don’t know, deserves a 1.
