Now called “The Inn.” It is very convenient to the Grand Magnusen hotel.
The food was OK. The service was terrible. When I ordered the pastie, she explained that it was small. I said that if I wasn’t satisfied, I might order desert. She misunderstood and never put in the order until we asked about it. What I got seemed tough and over-cooked. She asked if I wanted another beer and I said “yes.” She forgot that too and had to be reminded.

Was staying in the area on a vacation and stopped here for food.
The town was out of power however thankfully they had a generator and stayed open. Even being short staffed with all the business that came in they were on point.

Awesome little place to get some grub! We were lucky enough to come when they had a fresh whitefish catch and some darn delicious Fish and chips. The French fries were awesome too. Loved playing their Pinball machine while we waited too!

I have read the other reviews for this restaurant and I am just blown away about the negative or low star reviews. I loved this inn and there food. Every single dish was amazing and very large. The food is food that you would find in a big city like Chicago, San Francisco. If you love fast food and your palate can’t handle great fresh real food this is not the place for you. If you have some time on your hands and want to wait for an excellent meal this is the place. Yes you may have to wait, but you can have a drink and carve your name into a table. I would not miss the opportunity to eat at the inn if I was ever in your city again. Thank you for adding some life to the UP in area of excellent food that is not fast food, or stale gross diner food. It was a refreshing find all the way up north..

The bar area was a huge disappointment after a very long day of outdoor activities. We expected at least a bar with stools. The burgers were great, fries were dry and too heavily salted. Server was so super nice. This place has tremendous unrealized potential.
