We went here on our first night into San Pedro. The service was excellent, and our water glasses was consistently full. Of the four of us, all of us ordered a seafood dish. The only objectively bad dish was the grouper everything else was absolutely excellent. The grouper was too tough to even cut up, and we were unable to tell if it was actually a fish. I’m positive they would have remade or served something else at no charge if we had asked, but we didn’t want to make a fuss.
Again, service was excellent and we will certainly go here again.
We went on a wed night, and no reservation was needed.

20260102: I found myself at The Black Orchid while following a geocache to this property. I stopped in and was offered a $5 glass of champagne. The menu looked good, and i was the soul patron at this early dinner time (just before the official opening).
I asked the bartender if the owner had the staff try the menu items, and the owner did. Then I asked what she liked, and my bartender said she liked the sunshine snapper. I had that and it was delicious.

By far the best customer service I received in all of San Pedro, food was amazing, fresh, and fast. If you come here you must try the key lime martini, it was honestly one of the best cocktails I’ve had in my life and I’m a bartender. Great place definitely go here!

Drive to the South End of the island and you will find a little treasure of a restaurant with some of the very best service on the island. Air conditioned, quiet and very tasteful ambiance with lots of room for parking. They greeted us by name at the door and escorted us to our table where they gave us wonderful eucalyptus infused towels to wipe our hands with. We had margaritas, plural, which were excellent and the bartender Jordanie is nominated for bartender of the year on the island. The staff, Maritza (manager), Christina (our waitress) and Jasmin (who also came by to say hi and ensure we had everything) were some of the finest trained waitstaff you will find here. Kudos to the kitchen, Chef Marco and Chef Tyra and Jessie and Alex for our artistically presented and delicious dinners. We had the shrimp scampi and the blackened snapper and we enjoyed every bite. We even used some of the extra homemade bread they serve when you arrive to wipe the plate! And a huge plus is they offer cappucino and coffee and unlike several places we’ve been to, they served it precisely on time with our desserts. There were several desserts to chose from and we ordered the molten lava cake and added their homemade coconut icecream and also ordered carrot care which was served as a round piece with frosting on all sides which made it perfect. Had to bring half the desserts home as we were stuffed!
We had a thoroughly enjoyable and delicious dinner there. Be sure and check it out.

All around, excellent between atmosphere, service and food. I had made 7:00PM dinner reservations for 2 well in advance. The restaurant location is on the edge of town, a golf cart drive. Convenient for us staying at the Alaia Belize. We drove up, plenty of parking, nice exterior and classy upscale air conditioned inside.
When we arrived, we were greeted and seated in a cozy booth. I would assume during high season a reservation would be needed, there were only a few tables occupied when we arrived. Cindy was our server, very nice, professional and attentive. It was Happy Hour so we took advantage of their Mojitos which were some of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail, Rib Eye Steak and the Cajun Rub Snapper. All the dishes looked wonderful, steak cooked to request and all tasting great.
Thank you for the wonderful experience. We will definitely be back next time in San Pedro, Belize.

The BEST dining experience I have ever had! Latoya and Maritza are the most amazing ladies I have ever met! They go above and beyond for their customers! The food was also amazing but those two made the whole experience!

This spot has been on my list to check out for a while and I was really disappointed. I came for lunch to meet a friend. I ordered a soursop juice, a caesar salad, and the sunshine snapper dish (which looked and tasted like Tilapia not Snapper!) with rice & veggies. I’m not sure if it was the salad or the fish dish but something was sour and made me so nauseous. I literally had to leave and go straight home because I felt like throwing up. Ruined the rest of my day. The server was super sweet and she’s the only reason I gave 1 star. This is the worse experience I’ve had eating anywhere on the island and it cost me $50USD! So many other amazing places to eat! Save your money and go anywhere else!

My wife and I recently visited this amazing restaurant on a recent trip to San Pedro
From the moment we drove up, the servers did a fantastic job taking care of us
You can tell the ladies who work there take great pride in each of their guest experience
We started the night with the FRESH ceviche and AMAZING rolls
My wife got the teriyaki chicken with coconut rice and veggies and she was asking to do back before we even left it was that good
I had filet and veggies and the steak was cooked perfectly and portions where large
For us the best part was the desserts! We got a few options and our favorite ice cream on the island , the factory , had pints for us to grab on way out
Tucked away on the south side of island away from down town, this gem is worth the trip
