As a transplant from NJ/NY, I know good pizza when I see it (and eat it). Astra is hands down the best in St. Pete. The owner and I had a great conversation the other night as I waited for my pie, and he’s one cool dude! If you need a NY slice in St. Pete, Astra must be your go-to. This will always be my favorite pizza spot!

I’ve always been a fan of Lil Toby’s pizza in St Pete, but I’m a fan of Astra’s now.. Owner always makes the pizzas fresh from scratch, so it’s never rushed. Good under carriage and cheese stays in tact with the pizza. Tastes consistent every time and really enjoy the cheese/sauce flavors. Pepperoni is the best!
