Keith Collins, the owner, has a deep passion for cooking, delicious food, and sports. With over 30 years of experience in military and medical aviation, he has dedicated his career to serving both his country and community. I usually sit at the bar when I eat here. Probably 30-40 times over the last 4-5 months. Food is good. Servers/bartenders are good at their job. Price isn’t cheap but, it’s not bad either. I eat for an average of 20$ and that includes a glass of milk with my meal

The food was fantastic! The service was excellent. The ambiance was inviting and relaxed and perfectly aligned with the menu and feel of the restaurant! I love the remodel of the old hardware store into something usable while also keeping many, many of the old architectural details! It’s a great place to gather with friends, watch the game or games, and have a great meal! They have a full bar and many brews including some microbrews on tap!

Amazing place! I only found out about it few days ago. Wish I knew of it sooner. Right in downtown, very friendly staff and servers, food was served pretty fast, the boneless BBQ wings were bomb! Used to always order from hibbys before, but def will be ordering here now. The loaded nachos were bomb!

Hadn’t been before. Will definitely go again. Loved the burgers. Server was very kind and attentive. She told me she loves working there. That means a lot. Cool space. We went while it was slow which is my speed. Lol. We went on a super hot day and the place was very cool inside. Nice relief. I would recommend you give this place a try.

The burgers/wraps here are decent but skip the nachos. Very overpriced for both the portion and the quality. For $13 bucks, I had high expectations but was very surprised by the tiny portion and lackluster ingredients. Charging top dollar prices for a tiny portion, fake cheese, and bland meat isn’t a good look.

Ate here today after showing some property in West Plains. The atmosphere was great! Love the old building redone. Used to go here often as a kid with my dad when it was Smith Auto. I think I counted around 30 tvs! Should be entertained for sure! Waitress was attentive and helpful. I had the Plains burger and hubby had the mango habanero and Thai chili wings. We shared some straight fries and some jalapeño poppers (forgot to take a picture) The Apple butter they sent out was really good! Everything was really tasty. Jalapeño poppers were nothing special, but they were good, I was hoping for the bacon wrapped ones but they were just the ones with cheese and deep fried. Overall very good though! We’ll definitely be back! I hope it rains momentum and stays in business!

I am writing this review out of concern for patron safety.
On Friday night, December 5th, an adult male was observed repeatedly harassing two young female patrons in and around KC’s Sports Bar. Despite the behavior being noticeable, there did not appear to be any intervention or visible security presence at the time. It is unclear whether the individual had been consuming alcohol at the establishment or whether he had been over-served; however, his behavior was concerning regardless.
After leaving the establishment, the individual followed the women into a nearby alley, where the situation escalated into a physical assault. One woman was forcibly grabbed by the wrist, resulting in what appeared to be a broken wrist, and her female friend was struck in the face.
This incident raises serious concerns about monitoring escalating behavior, visibility of security, and preventative measures that could help stop situations like this before they turn violent. A more visible presence or earlier intervention may have helped prevent such a serious outcome.
I am sharing this review so others are aware and in hopes that management will review safety protocols to ensure patrons—especially young women—feel protected while visiting this establishment.

I ordered the Royal burger with cheese curds and my wife got the classic with fried pickles. The burgers were cooked to perfection and delicious the fried pickles, however, could have been cooked a little longer. Other than that super nice employees and great environment would recommend and will be going back.

In reference to the recent review regarding the incident that happened on Dec 5th – I am one of the victims of Jeremy Clayton’s actions. Once I was able to find out his name and get in touch with the manager, Destiny, she immediately called the owners and let them know about the situation and explained what happened, they handled the situation immediately and he will no longer be a risk at KC’s Bistro. This is a family restaurant and any kind of abuse, on women especially, will not be tolerated.

The first two times I went here the food and service were great! Got the garlic parmesan wings all three times and the first two times it was homemade sauce with actual grated parmesan!!! Amazing!!! This last time I went my service wasn’t that great and waited 40+ mins for 25 wings & fries with maybe only 5 other tables! (3 of which already had their food) Wings were luke warm with bottle garlic parm sauce! Server didn’t even check on us! Beer was not cold! Was sub par! May give them another shot!
