I am sadly reporting that this restaurant is committing fraud by steeling from the customers. I visited the establishment today -lunch time, I was accompanied by 2 of my colleagues from work. We work less than 5 minutes from the restaurant at a financial institution, the service was not pleasant and the orders were served incorrectly. We know things happens and we understand. What we are not in agreement is steeling from customers and it doesn’t matter the amount. Steeling is steeling and is penalized and prohibited my law. I got the plate with a $11.95 price with no drink. My final receipt showed plate cost $12.37 plus taxes 1.02% totaling $ 13.39. when I questioned the waitress she stated that they have a new system and that’s how the amounts are charged. I asked to speak with a manager and the manager didn’t have an answer either. She asked for a monet, looking all confused to the receipt not knowing what to say. Tours the end she stated that the $12.37 included taxes and that’s why I was paying that amount. When I questioned the $1.02% taxes, she stated that’s the fee for using the debit card. Not only they didn’t have an explanation of why the amounts charged where different from the menu but also they couldn’t explain why we all 3 were charge the same amount of $12.37 when we ordered different plates. It is clear that they are over charging the customers and I am assuming customers are not paying attention. I work for a well known financial institution and math is the main factor we use daily and it is unethical what the restaurant staff is doing. Imagine someone who is consuming alcohol and not in the right mind to verify a consumption of alcohol, how much this place is charging them. Or tables with large amount of people, how much they are over charging them. Like I told the manager and the waitress, that what they doing is 1st illegal, 2. They are steeling and 3. They are commiting fraud. And again doesn’t matter the amount steeling is steeling and there is not excuse for it. We will report the restaurant to the correct departments, food chain dpt for audit purposes. We are very disappointed and we will never visit this establishment again.

I drove to this place from Texas City, TX. Honestly food wasn’t the best. I ordered a queso to eat with my chips. The waitress took like 26-30 mins to bring it to my table. Atmosphere was great. They had this guy singing which he sings amazing. They also had some comedians, if I’m not mistaken they are named Los Machacas o Machacas Show. Very funny. At the end I had a lot of fun !!!

Menus are only in Spanish. Waitress only spoke Spanish. Luckily someone in our group was able to translate. Ordered Parillada Cancun and they didn’t include the queso flameado with shrimp as stated on the menu. When we finally asked waitress about it she went to go find out why it wasn’t included. When she came back with the food, the shrimp was still raw. Had to have the waitress go back once again and get the shrimp cooked. Charro beans were cold. They only served 2 Tortillas for the Parillada and Parrillada was big enough for at least 4 Tortillas. Chips and Salsa were good. Only dessert options they had were cheesecake and chocolate cake. No flan, no sopapillas, no tres leches. We had to move at least 3 times as the tables were all wobbly and kept moving. Nothing to do with the base. It was all the table tops as if they were not installed correctly. Waitress was embarrassed but accommodating.

In hopes of bringing a memorable experience of an outing to my 2 older parents, it was rather yet the opposite of what the outcome I got coming here. All the food came out at different times and my boyfriend and I waited 15-20 minutes after my parents received there’s, by the time the food arrived my parents were done eating and I was just starting…..When it came time for the bill the waitress concealed the gratuity on the bill and regardless of her poor service I still tipped standard 20%. Not being aware that I was adding 20% to the total WITH GRATUITY. Not to mention we were a party of 5 people being auto graded which I belive had some correlation to the waitress being aware off her poor service which doesn’t exactly make sense why she thought she was entitled to tip. Regardless of that being the fact she could have mentioned there was a gratuity prior to me adding a 20% tip on top of my total.I honestly left this restaurant fed in disrespect rather than by a meal.

I was craving seafood one day and told my husband let’s go to mambos.. he said it was far since it was in Katy during rush hour lol so he looked for something near home. He stumbled upon this place and we ordered take out the first time. The food was delicious! We had to come back and brought a friend to dine in. We went during happy hour and those margaritas and draft beers definitely hit the spot! The food the three of us got was definitely top notch. I was upset I couldn’t eat more lol. I took a seafood cocktail to go and that did not disappoint either. Im excited to go back. The customer service was nice too. Environment was clean which is a must for a restaurant and I overall enjoyed the ambiance. The price was not too bad considering we each got like 2 margaritas and 2 beers each.
Don’t miss out on the happy hour deals!!!!

Went on a Friday early evening. Apart from the music being very loud (couldn’t even hear ourselves or the waitress), everything else was great! The fresh/real lemonade, the camarones botaneros, camarones en mojo de ajo, cóctel de camarón were very yummy, but my favorite was the langostinos, they were very soft and flavorful. The michelada was ok. And the tostada they give at the beginning complementary was very delicious. They were getting ready for live music, but we left before it started. Service was excellent.

Expensive and not really it . The place has 25 shots when they are watered down. Food sloppy . Music good but kinda lame for a place with expensive basic drinks

Seems like boss man letting his waitresses slack off so he can talk to them. It was slow but the waitress decides to just hang out and converse. This is one of those places they serve the regulars better than anyone else, can’t get new customers like that. The tip reflects the service.
