Our family of four went for the Valentines Day special event. $85 per person. First course was excellent- soup and salad. Went down hill from there. 20 min to receive our drinks. Cold prime rib covered with sauce. Three pieces of duck. Never received our second drink. Dry chocolate cake. We’d happily pay $85 per person but it was so not worth it. Very disappointed with the $500 experience

Incredible service, amazing food! AMAZING bang for the buck. The quantity and quality are top notch. Unique flavorful dishese you can’t get anywhere else in town and even if you can find certain dishese elsewhere, these are unique to the restaurant. The environment was lovely and the service was so friendly. Only suggestion is a bit quieter music and more Italian or softer non lyric based (90s pop didn’t really fit the vibe)

We were seated promptly upon arrival, even without a reservation. Our waiter was a pleasant young man, although throughout the meal we had to ask for water and never received bread. Not sure if that was the server not bringing it or restaurant policy. In either case, a downgrade from me. My wife had the mushroom risotto, I had the local short rib pappardelle. Both were very good. I also had the “Tall in the Saddle” cocktail. Also very good. Foodwise, 5 stars. Service…a solid 3.

While the menu is small, every dish is incredibly well done. Add in the always creative and delicious cocktails and you have the best dinner spot in Lander. If you are visiting town, this is a must visit restaurant. It is family owned by the nicest couple and has a wonderful atmosphere.

Valentines special was a huge disapointment. My wife and I made reservations for the Valentines day special a week ahead and it was $85 per person. We called a couple times to see what the special would be since the cost was higher. They did not “know” what they were serving a couple days ahead, but knew what the cost would be. As usual the music inside was way to loud and we almost had to yell at each other to be able to talk. Options for the special were very limited and very small portions. We tried to make the best of it and get different things, so we could share. There was no pasta dish, even though we were at an Italian restaurant. So we went with the prime rib, which was a very thin piece and over cooked, and the lobster risotto. The risotto had maybe 3 small pieces of lobster in it, that was rubbery from being over cooked. It was also flavorless. The best part of the dish was the figs. It was served in a bowl with maybe 1/2 inch of risotto, so it was a very small portion. When it came time for dessert, we did one of each since there were only 2 options. A chocolate cake that was smaller than a cupcake and was incredibly dry, because it was previous frozen. The white chocolate custard type dish was the size of a reeses cup. We generally love the food at Mulino’s but will never do one of their specials again, if this the value they offer. Add in a couple drinks and the bill was over $200. The quality and portion size was no where near worth what we had to pay. Even the wait staff who brought us our food and drinks were apologetic on how things were, without us saying anything.

Great experience!
My server, Kendra, was so sweet and attentive. She offered recommendations and provided wonderful service.
The bread is INCREDIBLE.
I had the salmon entrée and it was cooked to perfection. The sauce and vegetables were lovely.
Sitting on the patio was beautiful on a summer night. Definitely will return!

Homemade pasta and amazingly creative Italian and American food in Lander, WY? Sign me up! The first visit I had the Ricotta Gnocchi and it was delicious. The second visit I got the Salmon and again, the choice did not disappoint. Both times for dessert I got a Key Lime brulee that brought me to Duval Street in Key West!
The atmosphere is nice I enjoyed my server so much the first time, I asked for her again the second time … Go Agnes! And I enjoyed two very nice dining experiences at Mulino Bistro and I look forward to going back and yes, I will ask for Agnes and I am eyeing the Seafood Pasta for when I get there!
Good job Mulino Bistro!

Fantastic. We’re just passing through, but scoped out the ratings for a good meal before hitting the hay and driving again. After days of not-so-fresh fare as we’ve travelled, this menu was refreshing. We had 4 courses and the tasty watermelon mint cocktail. Service and food were excellent across the board, and the ambiance is quaint yet airy and bright. Thank you!

We are never disappointed when we come here! They are always accommodating to dietary restrictions and have made us some excellent gluten and dairy free meals, as well as an incredible birthday dessert. Thanks, Mulinos! 🙂

The atmosphere and dessert were stellar. On the much pricier end, next time will just be dessert since this is where I experienced more value.
