2/28/26: This place came recommended so my son and I stopped by for a late lunch after an event at ASU. My son ordered the carnitas platter and I order a platter with one cheese enchilada and one beef taco, both platters came with rice and beans. We also order a water and a small soda. The bill was $36 which I think is pretty high considering you have to order at the counter, pay in advance and no tableside service. It took almost 30 minutes to get our food, we were the only customers there when we ordered. I placed the order at 2:47pm, received our food at 3:14pm. I asked the gal at the counter why are we waiting so long, and she said there was a large order before ours. It must have been a call-in because there was nobody inside. She did not mention that when I was ordering that it might be a few extra minutes. While the cook was doing his job, the gal at the counter was literally doing nothing. Not wiping down counters, refilling anything, helping the cook….NOTHING!!! She was just standing at the counter, blank stare. We finally got our food, no apologies, and she couldn’t even walk the 20 steps to deliver. We had to go and get it. The food was average at best. The carnitas was very fatty, the rice did not even taste good. I figured a beef taco would be ground beef, but it was shredded beef. No flavor, no seasonings whatsoever. Such a disappointment. We will never go here again, and I hope the manager/owner see this and make some improvements. Also, the bathrooms were dirty. They could definitely use a good wipe down on all the walls, baseboards, etc.

I am officially never going back to this place. 3 x I have bought from this restaurant and 3 x they have shorted me food that I paid for. I figured that there is no way they would do it again since it’s been over a year since I have been here. I should have opened all of the food cartons even though it was packed up and bagged. They shorted me $10 worth of food. I only stopped here because my son asked. If he ever asks again, I will tell him to pick it up himself. I am no longer getting ripped off. Maybe it’s because I’m a senior and they had no problems stealing from seniors.

Ordered the beef burrito tacos nachos and beef torta was the bomb the red salsa at there salsa bar was hot just as I like it. Definitely would stop in again.

They knowingly display different prices than they charge you on the receipt. I brought this up to them last time and gave them time to correct it. I went in today and they are still charging almost $3 more for items than advertised. When I asked the cashier about it she said “it’s not my job”. The food is good, but the fraudulent pricing scheme is disgusting.

We usually love coming to El Super Tacos, but this visit was very disappointing. We ordered 8 tacos, and one of them had no chicken at all. The rest were very poorly filled for the price. I paid $42 for the tacos and received really bad service.
On top of that, my son’s order was wrong, and when we brought it up, no one seemed to care or offer to fix it. I ended up spending an additional $8 just to get two more tacos to make up for the mistake.
This is not the experience we’re used to here, and it was frustrating, especially given how much we paid.

The folks on the other reviews were telling the truth! This is a great place for a quick burrito or taco. I ordered the Machaca plate which came with scrambled eggs and a homemade large flour tortilla. Everything was amazing and there are numerous salsa choices from the salsa bar.

This is a simple, no frill Mexican restaurant with tasty tacos and other combinations.
I had fries with carne asada, while the rest of my family had vegetarian chile rellano and chicken tacos. The carne asada fries were very tasty with a lot of guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. The meat was slightly over cooked but it didn’t take away from the dish. The chicken tacos were pretty good while the chile rellano was a little too cheesy and overwhelming.
There is also a salsa bar which was fantastic! They had 2 tropes of red salsa, and tomatillo salsa both which had incredible depth of flavor and were well seasoned. There was also some fresh veggies and pickled carrots too add some acid to the rich main courses.
Overall the food was quite reasonable, especially for a stop along a road trip. The decor is very simple and the staff was friendly.
