I’ve been eating dim sum since I was a kid, and Ray’s Duck is easily one of the most authentic places I’ve found. The dim sum here is excellent — fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety to choose from. You’ll find all the classics like shrimp dumplings, steamed rice rolls, and pineapple buns — all perfectly made.
What really stands out is the price — only $5 (weekdays, and $5.5 weekends) for any kind of dim sum, which is unbeatable in town! If you’re craving genuine dim sum without breaking the bank, Ray’s Duck is the place to go.

Ordered pecking duck by phone and it comes with hot soup. The plastic lid warped due to heat, causing the soup to spill completely during transport. Food was no longer safe to consume. I contacted the merchant immediately, but they refused a refund and only asked me to return to pick up another soup, which was not reasonable after the food safety issue. I have photos showing the warped lid.

Ray’s Duck House is killer good, the best Dim Sum this side of Hong Kong. Happened upon this restaurant one morning out for a drive on the 71. We were some of the first people there, early the day after Thanksgiving. Sorry, no food photos, it was so good we couldn’t touch our phones until there wasn’t anything left for a picture. Congee is a good test of a Cantonese Dim Sum restaurant because it is so deceptively simple. Duck House’s was out of this world.

This is a solid 4-star Cantonese Seafood restaurant that happens to serve Peking Duck. It’s been a while since our last visit and the food got better since our last visit. We have not tried the Peking Duck yet, but will do so soon. The dim sums were very good as well as other dishes. The flaky BBQ pastry (叉烧酥)was excellent and is recommended. The quality here now is comparable with those Cantonese restaurants in Rowland Heights area. Stop by if you haven’t already. A good option in Chino Hills.
Update 1: we came back and tried the Peking Duck. It was good and the size was reasonable as well for the price. We also tried the eel rice, walnut shrimps and several veggies. By the way 夫妻肺片(literal translation: husband and wife lung slices) does come with peanuts, so be careful if someone in your party has peanut allergy. By the way, this is one of the hardest Chinese dishes to translate into English properly. All told, it was a good dinner that’s worthy of a 4-star rating.
Update 2: we came here with some friends for dim sum. The dishes we had, such as saomei, chicken feet, radish cake, porridge (皮蛋瘦肉粥), stirred fried rice noodles (肉絲炒米粉), etc. were all quite good. Actually, I think it is the top dim sum place in Chino Hills, quite an honor considering there are around 8-10 places that serve dim sum in our neighborhood.

This is our go to place for dim sum in the local area. The food is good and the decor is nice. The manager and servers are nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place if you are nearby and crave for dim sum

May 15, 2023 Monday night update.
I was one of the first in when they reopened for the dinner crowd.
Service and staff still super friendly. Many were still cleaning dining room.
Food was still amazing! We ordered five dishes. All dishes I would order again! Delicious!
Did I mention DIM SUM for dinner???
YES! Four of their most popular Dim Sum dishes are offered at the dinner service! This is unheard of!!!
Love DIM SUM but can’t get away for lunch to enjoy it? Here’s your new place! $5.95 per dish. Order all four offerings and make a meal of it!
This place doesn’t disappoint!

3 months earlier…. On Chinese New Year.
Fire! Very high end Dim Sum! We were there on Chinese New Year the place had a thousand people and the employees were working their butts off to keep up with everything. They were doing a great job considering the mass amounts of people that were there.

Went for chinese new year with reservations. They ran out of almost everything at 7:30. We tried to call to pre-order dishes but nobody picked up. The manager then told us if we don’t pick up don’t even bother coming we are booked full. They were so busy it was hard to find a server and by the time they took the order almost 2 minutes later they would come back and say they were out this happed 4 times. Instead of setting up large parties in a private room because they ran out and used just room dividers one group was yelling the entire time to the point we could hear them from the other end of the restaurant.

Our first time here. Spacious surrounding. Ideal for huge family gathering, there were 12 of us that went there and they put us in a long table. Service is fast considering it was during the weekend Brunch and the food will be serve within less than 15 mins. The food is magnificently deliciously! The manager was welcoming and tend to cather our needs. Overall, we like the place.

Took my family to Ray’s for dinner to celebrate Chinese New Year. Ordered 2 Peking ducks, Sweet & Sour Fish, Taiwanese Style BBQ Eel on Sticky rice, Spicy Pot, Diced Beef w/ Black Pepper Sauce, and Worried String Beans.
All my family were amazed by the savory dishes and we finished all dishes! Compliment to the chefs. The service was impeccable, courteous, fast and professional.
We definitely will visit Ray’s again and would recommend it to all our friends.
