I went in for a take out order for myself and a coworker. I walked in and both employees were sitting in separate booths eating, so I assumed they were customers and waited to be assisted. The young man jumped up and started assisting me, he did great. He asked relevant questions and remembered my order when the other employee decided to help him with my order. The other employee, an older woman with pink/red in her hair was… different. She was late to helping her coworker, delayed in making the subs and since she wasnt there for the order, she kept having to check with him as to what I wanted. The part that threw me off the most was when the lady pointed out the tip cup to me, expecting a tip. As someone who was both a Jimmy John’s employee and a cosmetologist, I was shocked she was basically telling me to tip her when she did the least amount of the work and tips should be accepted not expected. Especially when they’re doing their job of making food and not cleaning up after me as I was leaving with the food. They did not provide utensils for one of my sides and when I asked of mayo on the side of my coworkers meal, none was put into the bag.
Tl;dr, slow service, store looks like it wasn’t cleaned in days – against JJs standards- demanding tips, and a sub that doesnt quite taste right (maybe they added something to my Club Lulu that is supposed to be on the Italian sub?). I wont be returning to this location.

Freaky SLOW. Ordered my sub online the other day at 11:35. Got to the store around 11:50. 2 people in front of me. My sub wasn’t in my hand until 12:10. There are a few good employees here (you know who you are) who actually care and try to provide good, fast customer service.. but they are dragged down by the other ones who move at the speed of molasses, and who hate you for even walking in the door.

Uber Eats failed to deliver my order. Justin, the GM, at the Southfield store (off evergreen) took care of my situation right away. I order from there alot and ive always had a good experience. Brett Marker

It’s what you would expect from a Jimmy John’s. Amazing sandwich and it always hits the spot. Also, the service was pretty quick.

If I can 0 stars for Service I would. I walk in, and I am half way in the door and the man behind the counter shouts out do you have an online order. I said no. I didn’t even get to the counter yet and he says what can i get you. I never been to JJ so I did not know what to get but I felt rushed and picked anything. I gave him the order, he didn’t ask what size sandwich, he didn’t ask if I wanted a combo or pickle or anything just started to ring it up. He didn’t say thank you, didn’t give me a receipt nothing. I looked around no one in the restaurant sitting down. There was trash bags piled at the door waiting to be taken out. NOT a very customer service friendly place at all. I will never go to any place if they don’t have good friendly customer service.

Why market as “freaky fast service” and then have employees that move at a glacial pace. I placed a pick up order. Drove 8 minutes to the store. Told them I was picking up an order for myself and they hadn’t even looked at the ticket. Then stand there on their phone and give me attitude. I hate teenagers.

The service was awful. Employees were laxed in their service. No one was in there and counters were dirty. I will not be back!
Asked lady who made my sandwich which was thrown together – for a bag and she said down at the end of the counter. No – not returning!
Please share with staff they need to step it up—- please. Their jobs exist because we as customers- let’s do better!

Love Jimmy John’s sandwich.
This location can sometimes get crowded during lunch times on weekdays which can slow down the freaky fast delivery so order in advance if you’re hungry

Let me start this out with I do not hate Jimmy Johns. I actually really like their subs, it’s just this location. I ordered a Vito combo from a rude cashier and then was given the option to tip.
(On a side note, why am I tipping to go up order and pick up my own sandwich. That needs to end.)
Fast forward from this, I receive my sandwich that looks poorly put together with not 1 or 2 but 3 pieces of salami. The sandwich looked more like two pieces of bread on top of each other. I then grabbed my sandwich and the rude cashier gave me my cup after asking for it. There was no bag given and it seems like they didn’t have any. I debated on going back in there and asking them to remake it, but at that point I just think I will never return to this location. Oh not to mention the lids and straws were not even stocked.
PLEASE NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION. TRUST ME YOU WILL REGRET IT.

This is the worst jimmy John’s I’ve ever been to. My son and I brought 3 sandwiches on 6/28 during the evening hours to young guys were working. I brought two veggie subs and my son an Italian sub. I can count how many veggies I had on my sub on one hand including lettuce and tomato. It was basically bread and mayo with a lot of oil on top of the bread. My son bread was hard as a rock with heavy oil on top. I don’t know if the owner is aware that his employees is doing this and if the owner is aware shame on them. I paid $30 just to eat mayo and bread. I will never come back here again. I will tell everyone I know not to go there. It’s just not right how they do their customers!
