Jacky’s Mexican Food in Avondale serves up excellent Mexican food: tortas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, soups (caldos – menudo, posole), quesadillas, chilaquiles, gorditas, tostadas, chiles rellenos, and more. Try our delicious Mexican pastries and seafood (Mariscos) favorites like our shrimp fajitas, camaron a la diabla, shrimp cocktails, and more. Jacky’s also has carne asada, marinated pork (al pastor), chicken (pollo), ham (Jamon), lengua, and cabeza. Join us for breakfast! Breakfast burritos and tacos are served all day. We are located on the southeast corner of McDowell and Dysart Road — off of Rancho Santa Fe Boulevard in the Avondale Plaza near the I-10 in Avondale, AZ.

Salsa SO GOOD you could almost drink it from a cup! The chips and salsa are some of the best I’ve had in a long while.
Overall I now know what I want to order from here. If you are a picky eater then definitely ask what exactly is in each dish.
The cheese enchiladas are WAY different from the norm. Not bad, just different. Think a cheese quesadilla with a different kind of red sauce and fried slightly and not smothered in sauce. The amount of cheese was inconsistent between each of the enchiladas and all 3 were stacked on top of each other. I enjoyed it but still need to get my fix of regular cheese enchiladas somewhere else, however their chimichangas are PHENOMENAL! Now again going back to ask what it is before ordering the chicken chimichanga has beans and rice in it. Topped with a cream sauce and guacamole. My wife is not a fan of Beans, however their refried beans are so good she actually didn’t mind it. Is say these beans are almost as good as Chino Bandito’s. The rice is slightly better than most berto’s type chain’s.
Next time we come here I’ll get their Blood chimi, can’t wait to return!

Tried the nachos with beef, and it was tasty and filling! The horchata was really smooth and spiced. The salsas were spicy, and the chips tasted fresh. The person who helped us at the counter was really helpful with the menu, and she brought us extra jalapenos!

We had success the first time we went but ever since then, sadly the experience hasn’t been the same. Since then, we’ve tried this place a couple more times and the food hasn’t hit the spot. Bland most of the time unless drenched in salsa. The rice was soggy on two occasions. Due to this, we’ve crossed it off our list of places to go to.
