we are on holiday from england we called before we arrived to ask if they had the everton game on. they said they would put it on for us. we where made welcome as soon as we arrived. the staff were friendly and helpfull. they set a bar tab up for us. one of the locals bought us a round of drinks that was very good of him. MYA our server was excellent every time 1 of our drinks was empty she was there to replace it. i would recomend this place.

Had a really great time here. Per the waitress’s recommendation, we got the pepper jack cheese sticks, fried chicken sandwich, and the pink starburst drink. Both food items were super good. The drink was very good. A little sweet for me but to be expected with that name. We also had some regular well and soda drinks that were solid and very well priced.
Our waitress was Madi (said the receipt). She was very friendly. Checked on us often, gave good recommendations, and made the experience great.
This was our first time here. I don’t hear people in Starkville talk about this place, so I think it’s underrated. Strongly recommend you come for a casual place with solid (or better) food and good prices.

I wanted to leave feedback and not a review of the place. I’m in from out of town working nights and I wanted to eat something besides fast food.
Google maps pointed me here because it’s open until midnight.
I arrived shortly after 10 pm and they weren’t serving food. You might want to put that information here.
Also, is this a college only bar? The few people and bartender looked at me like I had a third eye. Strange.

We’ve been trying to get to StaggerIn since moving back home so we decided to go watch the State / Arizona game. We love the atmosphere there and the staff does a great job keeping the customers engaged. Kudos especially to Summer!
I was SO looking forward to having some of the best wings in Starkville but wanted to wait until later in the game to do so. Unfortunately the game didn’t start till 10 CDT and halftime was nearly 11:30. Unfortunately, we weren’t aware that the kitchen shut down at 11:00 so we couldn’t order any food. I would have loved to stay for the whole game but we couldn’t continue drinking without food so we had to cut it short.
My wife had the Philly Cheese Nachos and I had the world’s best Pepper Jack Cheese Sticks. I’ll make the 30 mile drive just for the cheese sticks any day.
Again, we LOVE the food and atmosphere and will be going back for sure. We’ll just have to go earlier.
UPDATE…
We went back after a football game so I could get my wing fix. I got the Starkville Style wings and they are as amazing as I remember.
I also want to send a shout out to our waitress Carly! She’s amazing and I’m sure she will do well in life after graduating this year! Thanks again Carly!!

LOVE The Stagger In! The Topless Hot Chick (grilled, plain – not hot) is my go-to every single time! Texas toast, topped with 2 chicken tenders, crinkle fries, queso cheese dip, & crunchy bacon bits, with ranch dressing to drizzle on top! Yum!!!
Edited after reading other reviews: Don’t come if you’re a stick in the mud. The Stag has great food, friendly staff, and YES, slightly risqué names on their menu. It’s all in good fun! We bring our two sons, who are currently 10 & 17, here often – we do make it a point to come earlier in the evening, but my gosh – your children read worse on YouTube videos. To be honest, this place has always been very unique to me. The environment itself is different than most places, which makes it very enjoyable. But the people are extremely kind and friendly it’s like a slice of the country life with a modern take. I absolutely love this place some of the best food in starkvile Hail State

The fries are amazing especially with toppings. When they get busy the service gets slow but that’s normal. The food, and scenery is great, would definitely be back for both. They definitely have beautiful attentive bartenders.
