Went Saturdsy night for the rib special. I had been there years ago and was not impressed with the food. The ambiance is good, the service terrific, the drinks well made & a great happy hour. Our rib dinner came with a choice of salad or soup. I chose the salad which was fresh and plentiful. My wife chose clam chowder. She loved it. So i tried hers. It was great. Also dinner came with a fresh loaf of bread with butter and dipping oil. The ribs were very good and full rack along with a baked potatoe and asparagras. We will be back again

Went for dinner and saw some live music, definitely shouldn’t have sat so close we could barely hear each other LOL, but it was nice. I got a red pear salad and added grilled chicken and wow. You can tell the cooks love their job, they plate everything so beautifully and it was delicious! We loved it so much we came back for breakfast the next day ❤️

Local neighbors have been recommending the Blue Water Grille for some time now, so I decided to give them a try tonight for dinner. Upon walking into the restaurant, I was greeted by a pleasant hostess and brought to our table.
After pursuing the dinner menu as well as the Saturday Night Specials menu, both my dinner partner and I started with the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised to receive 6 large scallops completely wrapped in bacon and cooked to perfection. It’s hard to keep a juicy, tender scallop yet have perfectly crispy bacon.
For our dinners, we ordered the Ribs Special both with the Maryland Crab soup du jour, a baked potato, grilled asparagus for him and brandy carrots for me. These were some of the best ribs I’ve had outside of a BBQ restaurant. I could not believe how large the portions were despite the price of $20.
I will definitely be returning to the Blue Water Grille in the future!

The food was ok. Well cooked but nothing to right home about. The service was great and Darla made sure we had everything we needed. I had done the Polar Bear plunge earlier and I guess I enjoyed the soup the best. Lots of TVs if your watching a game. Nice vibe.

As a forty-plus-year visitor to Wildwood, I’ve often driven past this establishment, mistakenly assuming it attracted an unsavory crowd. However, it’s crucial to avoid making judgments based on appearances. My wife and I recently spent a weekend and stopped by, where she purchased a pineapple drink in pineapple. We decided to dine there and were impressed by the high quality of our meal. I also examined their breakfast menu, which seemed respectable, so I would definitely return for dinner and drinks. The live music was outstanding, and the crowd was pleasant, mainly comprising individuals from Philly and Delco.

We went last night for the dinner and a show (no extra charge for the show). Everything was good, some were excellent, like the she-crab soup, which would have been peter shields worthy. Prices are reasonable, including soup or salad and two really good sides with an entree. The rustic bread is terrific. Not much of a choice of bottles of wine but they have enough and they too are reasonably priced. One suggestion: use WORD to print up a black and white beer and wine handout of whatever you are currently serving and change it as needed, separately from the menu.

Food was amazing, especially the chicken parm. Service was great, little slow though. Place not crowded at all at 7pm for dinner. Would definitely go back.

Went to dinner in Wednesday night with friends service asked for bread. Waitress told me it was in the oven, then why did it come out cold? After a long wait we got out food it was the Seafood combo all 4 of us had cold food. Not even warm. Told the waitress and she said what do you want me to do about it? I said, could you bring it back and heat it up. They only microwaved it which made the seafood, tough and terrible. Then the waitress walks by with two other plates Stop by our table says their food was cold too. I don’t know what happened. The manager was at the door and there weren’t people standing there waiting to come in. I was really gonna tell him how terrible this experience was not only that we all ended up not feeling well. The next day I would be very careful going there. I certainly will never go back.

A 1 star experience that became 5
The 1 star
Saturday August 16th we arrived for breakfast at 10:15 am. We ordered iced coffee and the gentleman serving us asked, is that just coffee over ice? Me and my wife looked at each other and thought that would be terrible. We were correct, it was watered down coffee. We asked if we could substitute home fries for fruit and he simply said “no” without offering us an item that would be an up charge or any other option. The chocolate milk and lemonade came out in 4 oz cups and we figured there were no refills because he didn’t come back once to ask us if we would like more to drink. He missed our son’s omelette order, so we waited at least 15 minutes for that to come out.
The 5 star
Around 1045 am our waiter disappeared and we were blessed with a new waitress, when we told her about the previous waiter, the hot coffee on ice, the not checking on our drink situation and the missing omelette, she apologized and was so sweet in a genuine way to us for the rest of our meal. She asked if the kids needed refills and we told her we didn’t know they offered refills. She then at the very end sent us with cold brew iced offer and we were surprised because we received $14 worth of watered down iced coffees when they served cold brew.
Due to how excellent the second waitress was I was inclined to change my 1 star review to a 5 star review but the waitress knew about how terrible the first waiter was and someone should look into it so that others do not receive this treatment.
We ordered the sausage breakfast burrito, french toast, and a couple of omelets and all of the food was tasty and came out warm.

Came to try the famous roast beef and the upside down pineapple daiquiri. Also thought that since I came to pay, I would be able to sit on the side of the pool. It wasn’t until after I ordered everything that I was told I wasn’t allowed in that area. As a local that enjoys supporting local companies I find it offensive that we were spoken to as if we were no bodies. I plan celebrity events often for the company I own & rent out venues and rooms regularly. I promise I will never rent out this place for any event. How you treat people is everything.
