I can’t say enough how amazing Kravings Cafe is! They’re definitely our favorite place since moving to the area!!! You HAVE to go if you get a chance!
All of their sweets are to die for! But I’m absolutely obsessed with their cheesecakes! Especially their peanut butter one! They even do a butterfinger one too and OOMMGG SO GOOD!! They put all kinds of goodies on/in them too!!
Their minis are adorable and hit the spot perfectly if you’re hankering for a lil somethin somethin aaand they were awesome enough to make a big one for me for Valentine’s Day!!
They worked with my husband a few days prior to surprise me! They even did little decorations on the box! It was seriously the cutest!
They even said they’ll do customs too! Which I will obviously be trying next! They keep really well too, not that they last long!
Their prices are great especially for what you get!!! The big cheesecake was probably like 3in thick! Perfectly silky and filled with goodies!! I can’t wait to try more of their delicious foods!!!

Kravings Café is exactly the kind of spot every little town hopes to have when it comes to breakfast and lunch. This family-run café has a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, while still delivering food that’s prepared with care and precision. With dine in and to-go options available, this café is one to be beat.

The menu covers the classics—breakfast favorites, hearty lunch options, and indulgent milkshakes—at prices that feel refreshingly reasonable. I tried the BLAT, and it was spot-on: crisp bacon, creamy avocado, fresh lettuce, and tomato on perfectly toasted bread. It’s the kind of straightforward dish that, when executed well, leaves a lasting impression, and Kravings nailed it.

One suggestion would be to incorporate a coffee bar/bakery (espresso/evergy-drink based drinks). This would lend itself to a good fast casual vibe for both breakfast and lunch.

Hours are limited to the morning and early afternoon (they close at 3), which only adds to its charm as a go-to brunch or midday stop. For anyone seeking quality food, friendly service, and a cozy mom-and-pop vibe, Kravings Café is an absolute must in Independence

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. Wife had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I had the burrito with bacon and jalapeño. Both were excellent. The burrito was huge and cost was very reasonable.

Definitely will never have a craving to go back…Arrived early, no one else at Sunday breakfast. Probably our first clue. Cold day, but temperature inside wasn’t much warmer. Coat on. Seated ourselves. Coffee came quickly. Pretty old and other employee said need to make another pot. Server gave information that no pancakes, just waffles…wife ordered omlette with spinach. I wanted pancakes or lunch. Neither available so ordered a couple of biscuits, plain. Omlette was pretty good. Lots of spinach. Server never came back or asked if we wanted coffee or check in food. The biscuits were inedible. Hockey pucks with sour tasted. Took one bite. Wife’s toast was burnt to a crisp. Not toasted, but burnt. Paid and left. Yuck

Stopped in for a coffee on the go this morning and had the sweetest encounter with their family team. Got a chance to try an amazing and the most affordable peppermint mocha I’ve ever had and meet the owner. Amazing local spot! We will be back!

Went in for lunch on 12/14/2025 and my wife got an omelette, she hadn’t eaten prior and within 3 hours she was unbelievably sick from food poisoning. I had a Reuben and I did not have any symptoms. However she was extremely sick for over 24 hours.

Great food! It tasted like home cooking! Hubby had biscuits and gravy country style & my mother and I had the skillet but we forgot to get a picture. Excited to have a new place to get home cooked style food! Next time I’m trying the home made chicken fried steak!

It’s a nice little place. My friend and I had the biscuits and gravy. It was good, but a little overpowered with seasonings in the gravy. I probably wouldn’t order it again, but I will certainly try the café again.
