I recently came here for a nice family dinner & it was an all around good experience. The restaurant is very clean & service was great which is always important. The chips & salsa came out quickly & was delicious. The drinks are strong but pricey & can add up quickly. The food was ok but nothing special which is why I gave 3 stars. I wish the food has better flavor when compared to other Mexican cuisine in town.

Our group of 4 adults fully enjoyed ourselves, with the festive music, the well plated and delicious food. This was our friends second time here, and they wanted to bring us to taste and see for ourselves. We are always on the hunt for a Mexican restaurant that compares with one in NYC’s, village area. This is very close to it. The meatless nachos were VERY good, as was the rest of our meals.

We went here for a friend’s birthday during the middle of the week. The food here is pretty good. I had the Carne Asada and it was delicious. The cocktails here are pretty good too. The staff is what made the experience great. They took care of us for our friends birthday with special cocktails and shots. Definitely would come back.

Awesome New Mexican restaurant in the area. Came in without reservations & we were seated promptly. The ambiance and decor were great. There’s a spacious dining area and a bar area to be seated. I ordered shrimp tacos which came with a side of rice and beans which were plentiful. The tacos were delicious. The service was a little slow which was expected because of the grand opening. I’ll definitely return to try other dishes or reorder the tacos.

The service was great and I have no complaints about that. To start the chips and salsa that came as we were seated were not good at all. The chips tasted like they were fried in old oil and had a very distinct after taste. My wife had ordered the tacos mexicanos in which the meat was very tough and had no flavor. I ordered the Texas burrito which the sides were very good. The only thing was that the pork in the burrito was overly fat. My son had the chicken quesadilla in which he like and I can vouch for that. The dessert was the churros and vanilla ice cream in which the churros were stale and the ice cream was nothing special.

Food was pretty good. I had the chicken fajita, which gave a good portion, but did not come with sour cream or cheese. Thought that was extremely odd! Service was fairly slow for Mexican. Mexican food usually comes out as soon as the waiter goes out of line if sight. Can’t with three for tortilla’s, could have used five. Fairly pricey for a Mexican joint. I don’t think the cost was appropriate for the food and service. Location expensive? Not sure. It wasn’t too far from Newark Airport. Forgot photos

Great service, nice menu selection, very clean… love love the chapala sauce.. their homemade red sauce.. sweet and mild spice… served on many entrees… I took food home also and they knew I liked it and they sent a little extra for me… will go back… delicious margaritas too
