The worst food I have ever had delivered. We found baby cockroaches in our food. In our daughters French fries and in cheesesteak. On top of that, the order was completely wrong. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak with extra cheese – Not much cheese was added, and a mushroom cheesesteak that had no mushrooms!

The gyro that I purchased tonight was horrible. I ended up throwing the mystery meat sandwich in the trash. This is NOT the original gyro meat that Casa D’ Mama has used over the years. I have been going to this restaurant on and off for over 25 years. I even brought my own children there over the years to play the Pac game and eat pizza. The subpar quality of our meal was blamed on Covid then on the new cook. Clearly with original management gone the quality of this beautiful establishment has plummeted. I understand that many businesses have had to raise prices and cut menu options to offset loses in other areas but I would rather pay more for a product than not get what I paid for. Sadly after driving sometimes over an hour to visit a childhood favorite we will not be back. Neither will I ever refer anyone here again. I am so embarrassed that I even referred my foodie group here if this is the food quality that is being sent out. I have attached a photo of what the gyro meat looked like before, what a sandwich looked like before and what I got this evening (last photo). The meat tasted horrible and tough. Bring George back because this place has lost it’s soul.

OH HOW THINGS HAVE IMPROVED!
Seems new management is getting it right!
FOOD:
Lasagna Taste was almost perfect. A bit on the sweet side and, I can’t put my finger on it but something missing. But, I will definitely buy again.
Cannolli: Decent. Need to balance out the sweetness. Cannoli have a more balanced flavor. Over sweet I would say.
But again, I will buy in the near future.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
AWESOME!
Now I can definitely say, visit them. Price and food are mucho, molto meglio!!

I went back in the CHICKEN PARMESANA was EDIBLE. YAY!!!!
Full disclosure the new owner offered me a free dinner based on my disastrous encounter with the previous owner’s food.
I appreciate the gesture but cannot accept anything free because I do not want my judgement to be influenced by anything else other than the food and the service provided.
That being said, let’s get to the review.
SERVICE.
100% Great
The young man behind the counter was SPOT ON providing excellent customer service.
The Young women who seemed to be coordinating and making sure that all food was coming out was AMAZING and AWESOME! (Shhh, I’ll share a little secret, she had a smile that would melt the sun).
FOOD:
Chicken Parmesana was much better, but a bit over cooked. Flavors were almost there.
Cheesecake, I was very surprised. Pretty decent. Not high in taste but fair. It seemed like one that you buy at the Restaurant Depot.
The garlic cheese bread was literally my favorite. It wasn’t a bread flooded with garlic-butter or excessive cheese. For me it was a bit like comfort food I used to eat in Manhattan.
Why not higher score?
Two things
I believe they can do much better by scaling down the menu a lot and focus on getting the recipes just right. See menu pics. That’s why, in my humble opinion, they fall into the category of:
“Jack of all trades, master of none.”
It’s similar to the single attorney that handles crime cases, civil lawsuits, divorce, car accidents, international businesses, investments, cleans cars….you catch my drift?
Second, never scold an employee in front of the public. Keep those moments away from public. That can make people run away like the devil from the cross.
All in all, I look forward to going again to see if the food makes it to the next level.
They definitely have the people to make it happen.

I’m heart broken with this restaurant!
Prior to COVID I used to go for some Italian food, and food was always decent. Not the best, but up there.
I purchased a Chicken parmesana. The first bite hit me like a brick on the toes!
It had an overwhelming vinegar taste. Too much! My stomach felt sick. I couldn’t eat anything else for the rest of the day. Next day I was still down for the count.
In short, I couldn’t finish it. I felt like I had finished fighting with Connor McGregor after only one punch.
I hope the next time, the chef tastes the food. And get the recipe correct.
Return Factor 50%. I’ll try it one more time.
So sad.

At this small but comfortable pizzeria tucked into the strip mall adjacent to Safeway, I enjoyed a delicious calzone, packed with pepperoni, sausage, black olives, and cheese, and prepared with a nice buttery glaze on top. Very pleasant staff added to the enjoyment however, the only thing I would take away is the music was not apropos to a pizzeria. I would wholeheartedly recommend an Italian or Sicilian instrumental music track. Bongiorno!!

We used to love this place. I’m not sure if it has switched owners or something but the food wasn’t like it used to be.
We ordered the white pizza and a calzone. The calzone was okay but the pizza was way overcooked and didn’t taste anything like it used to.

Good pizza if you are a fan of garlic. There’s too much garlic in the sauce for my taste, but the crust was good and got a decent amount of cheese/toppings. And it was delivered super fast – under half an hour from when I ordered. Even though it was before the normal dinner rush, that was really good.
Other people liked the garlic flavor, so that’s just a personal preference. Just something to be aware of if you plan to order from here.

Casa D’ Mama offers authentic Italian pizzas that are always just out of the oven. I tried Margherita with fresh basil and cheese pizza, both were real amazing and would recommend trying these guys out. They have great toppings selections and great prices. I also had both chicken and shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, the pasta and sauce were delicious. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! The new management and staff are great and always efficient, happy and polite.

I’ve never reviewed this place before, and I’ve had it so much growing up, this place has been around for years, it’s like home to me when I walk in and sit down. This place has changed the way they’ve made their food so many times, and never once was I disappointed, I love this place with every fiber in my body. My personal favorite on their menu is the Chicken Alfredo, it taste so amazing. All their entrees are good in their own right. Thanks for reading, and Casa D, keep doing your best!!
