A very cozy place to sit in and relax. The food was great. Service was exceptional.
Monday is a complete turnaround from the hustle and bustle of Friday. So I took my time and ate everything I wanted. Chicken, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, potato salad and black eyed peas. German chocolate cake for dessert.

Country home style cooking. The food is as simple as it gets. Service is superb. The atmosphere is old country store. They even play solid country gold from the 1980’s in the background. It can help some folks remember where they came from. Come relax and eat some fried chicken.

Was not impressed with the food. Nothing matched. Why have rice and mashed potatoes and no form of gravy to go on it. The catfish is Asian catfish and is not farm raised from the south. Biggest mistake ever for below average food who claim to have the best fried chicken. I’ve had better chicken out of a gas station.

This is a quaint community spot where regulars visit. It is buffet style. Tuesdays and Fridays are fried fish days. It is usually cooked to order and they bring it to your table. The usual menu items include fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, salad, coleslaw, yams, and casserole. Two can dine in for around $26. Take out is more pricey, because some things get weighed and other things such as the fish is per piece. We only go for the fried catfish, but here lately it is a bit smaller.

Walked in here with my kids and it was completely empty. Should’ve known better from that scene alone. Their food is out behind their counter and there are flies all over the food. Not somewhere I’d want to eat. I pointed it out and the lady just looked at me like it didn’t matter. Needless to say we didn’t eat there. Just gross

The all you can eat catfish is on point. The other buffet items are garbage! Cold, not seasoned well and a let down.

Drove 25 minutes to try it out. Place was very cute, rustic and like an old country gas station. Very disappointed in the food. The fried chicken dry, the chicken and dumplings runny, the salisbury steak tasted off by a couple of days, the cake was crunchy and dry.

I was here in February for an event and we decided to give this place a try, and oh my goodness, we were so so content. The lady serving us was super kind even though it was pretty late and the owner was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. It felt good to be there and the food was FANTASTIC. I’m very glad I got to try southern food from here because I haven’t had anything like it yet. I hope I get the chance to come back soon! 10/10 recommend

This is the old-style Country Buffet I grew up on. The food is a heck of a lot better than I remember but that’s probably something to do with the guy or gal cooking it.

I was greeted at the serving area by a very nice elderly man. He proclaims his chicken was the best around. I got a piece of his Fried Chicken he even offered me a sample of the ham. I will say the chicken was very delicious and it was seasoned well in the batter. I had some mac and cheese that was definitely better than kraft and some seasoned cabbage. I didn’t leave the Buffet needing more to eat. The gal that waited on us was super sweet and attentive. Looking forward to another visit here. This building is over 100 years old. Southern hospitality at its best.
