Love the food. Great service and prices, however today taking visiting family encountered an odd situation. Four of us, all orders correct except mine. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich that should have had lettuce tomato and mayo, but came out with some yellow cheese melted to the bun. When our server came around again I questioned him about it. He checked and was advised to tell me I should have requested it deluxe. When I said the menu says it comes with those things not cheese, he checked again and came back apologizing that I was right. When I asked if I could get the sandwich I ordered, he said he wasn’t sure…?…but would check. He came back with a little a plate with lettuce and tomato and some mayo. Not pleasant tasting with the cheese and almost impossible to put on bread with melted cheese and a now cold chicken breast. I tipped him, thanked him but would have liked to have met the one giving him advice for poor customer service. It couldn’t have been the usual ones we know work there. Will we return, yes. But I’ll keep a menu handy so I can confirm the order at first sight.

We tried the Burger Brawl special. Tender, juicy burger topped with melted to perfection cheese on a ciabatta bun. It also has crunchy, French fried onions creating one of the best flavored burgers I have ever tasted. Come with an appetite because the Burger is very filling.

This place is a vibe!! Fun, friendly servers helped us order all the awesome things to try…chislic, buffalo chicken pizza and sodak burger. ALL were awesome!! The atmosphere was electric and the place was clean! Totally recommend! Oh also…SD folks like pickles and olives in their light beers. Try it. It’s not too bad!

The food was very good. I ordered boasted chicken. The service was outstanding. I had a bunch of family from out of town with me. They had never had Chislic before. They absolutely loved it! When we don’t feel like cooking while at the cabin, the Lakes is our go to.
