Traveling across the country from New York. Stopped next door to do laundry and had lunch at this burger place. Super friendly staff, quick service and delicious food. The burger topping bar was a bonus. Be sure to get the hand battered onion rings, you won’t regret it.

We ordered a burrito and burger. The burger tasted fresh with a fluffy bun and juicy patty. The burrito and green salsa was flavorful without having excess heat. I ordered a large burrito and it was honestly refreshing. I’ve had a large burger at Buffs in town and I just feel so sluggish because of the grease, but Hil’s burrito was just fresh.

Lived in canyon about 7 years now and cannot believe I’ve never ate here before now, burgers okra and curly fries are amazing. Gonna have to try the onion rings next time! Service was fast and super friendly!

Awesome small town, family-owned and run burger joint! They were short-staffed (only dad and son running the whole thing) so it required a little patience, but it was well worth the wait. The cheese burger was solid, the chicken strips and steak fingers were hand battered and excellent, and the grilled chicken dinner with grilled veggies was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

We stopped here because who don’t like a hole in the wall kind of place!! Went in, the service was great and they were so nice! Food was great! Just what we all asked for!! My husband loved the Philly cheesesteak highly recommended (per husband)!!! When we come back to this town we will be stopping again here!!!

I read the reviews before visiting and I have to say, a burger joint getting more reviews for the burritos than their burgers was a bit alarming. My 5 year old wanted a burger and since we just moved here, I decided to try the mom and pop shops.
The food was really good. I like the do it yourself toppings bar. The curly fries had taste to them. The buns to the burgers were awesome. The patty itself wasn’t big enough and there were times when all I bit into was bun.
The staff was really friendly. It was dead when we went, being the day before Thanksgiving.
