Let me get started by saying this was probably the best restaurant i’ve eaten at while visiting jackson! I have celiacs so i needed all my food gluten free and the chef and servers were so thorough checking everything for me, which is so nice when it doesn’t feel like i’m bothering the staff, they were all so happy to help! Now for the food, i got the onion grilled cheese and i added steak, and i got a side of the tomato soup all gluten free! It was the most fantastic sandwich. The steak was cooked to perfection and just the flavors were all there without it being greasy. whether you are visiting or a local i would definitely check this place out, 10/10 recommend!

Wonderful lunch spot. Great view of the valley winter and summer. In the summer the patio is open and that’s just really nice. Later in the fall bring a jacket. Take a walk through the museum either before or after eating, you won’t be disappointed. Food is excellent as is the service. Sezai took care of us today and he’s a great waiter. I had the “Smash & Dash” this time but have been here numerous times and I’ve never ordered anything that wasn’t excellent. The restaurant is located in the main atrium of the museum, just walk in the front door of the museum and you will see it.

We had lunch at Palate today, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The view is the best I’ve seen from a table in Jackson (loads of elk were in the preserve fields today and we watched them from our table) and the ambiance of the restaurant itself is peaceful. The food was surprisingly good, probably the best I’ve had in Jackson, other than King Sushi. Server Sebastian was friendly and informative. We will absolutely return.

This is probably the coolest, most unique spot I’ve ever had lunch at. I’m not even sure what to compare it to because it’s literally perfect. It’s max 10 minutes outside of Jackson Hole, but it’s totally worth the drive. The restaurant is located at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, which is a great experience itself that you can check out after lunch or while you wait for your table. You can either choose to sit inside or outside, and of course we sat outside. The patio view had me at a loss for words. It overlooks the Elk Refugee and mountains in a distance. The view itself is worth coming here. The menu is close second.
I started off with their Bloody Mary which had a pretty spicy kick, but that’s the way I like it. It was served really tall glass, so I enjoyed it for the whole meal. For appetizer we had the peaches & tomato plate. It was definitely creative and enjoyable, and I’m glad it wasn’t filling because the main course portions definitely will fill you up. My girlfriend ordered the Casper Power Bowl which looked absolutely amazing, and we even paid extra $8 extra to have bison meat. I couldn’t decide between their Palate Burger or the Trout Fish & Chips. Our great waitress recommended I try the Trout Fish & Chips since that’s her favorite, and she didn’t steer me wrong. For dessert, we shared a small Lemon Posset, which is a vanilla bean cream with fresh berries served in a really small cup.
This place was perfect, and I will forever recommend it to people if I hear they’re visiting Jackson Hole. Love love love!

Inside the museum, you find this little treasure by the gift shop. We stopped in at lunchtime in the middle of January.
I got the grilled cheese with French onions, and my husband got the elk meat wrap. For the appetizer, we got the pot stickers, which were cooked to perfection. All the food was wonderful, the staff very friendly, with a great location north of Jackson across from the elk refuge. Will go back when we visit the area again.

A nice restaurant cafe with an upscale but also easy going vibe. Service is attentive. Food is fresh and tasty with a focus on healthy and local. You don’t need a museum ticket to dine here. It’s one of the hidden gems in the Teton National Park for best eating spots!

Hands down my favorite restaurant in town, always will be! It is very clean & has a simple menu. I come in just for the French onion grilled cheese & beet salad 🙂
They also have yummy cocktails, i would recommend trying the spiked apple cider. Ask for Alvero he’ll always give you the best service!!

Stopped in for lunch after a morning of hiking in Teton. Chose to wait for outdoor table and glad we did, the view is amazing! My wife and I shared the Casper Power Bowl and the Palate Burger with the subbed grilled chicken breast and the subbed cup of Game Stew. The food was out quickly despite being busy and was excellent! The service was also top notch. Already trying to figure out how to make it back during the remainder of our trip.

Delicious! Smaller portions so it’s a great lunch. They serve game proteins which is tasty and on point for the area.
