The food here was excellent and two really stood out. We had the Thom Ka soup (#21)which was fantastic. My friend ordered this, and after tasting hers, I ordered my own. We then had the spinach and brocolli with tofu with peanut sauce (#44) as part of the main meal. I’m more of a meat eater usually, but have been trying tofu recently for health reasons. The tofu was light on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It was much better than I was expecting and I ended up finishing this dish. Next time I’m in Port Alberni I’d gladly return and try out other things. Also, while the restaurant interior is fairly plain, they had video of Thai locations on a big screen TV which was fun to see, and the service was excellent.

I was driving through Port Alberni on valentine’s day & decided to stop by & the food was unreal, so flavourful & tasty i was blown away. I got a chicken pad Thai & spring rolls & both were wonderful i will definitely be coming back thank you!!❤️

We were looking for a good home to eat near Port Alberni and chanced upon this place.. The host was very warm and accommodated several of our choices even though it was a set lunch menu.
We ordered a red curry with tofu, chicken pad see lew and a beef broccoli. All the dishes came with a soup, a salad and a spring roll or a wonton.
The soup was very light with the chicken based broth, cabbage, tofu and cilantro.
The pad see lew really took my husband by surprise as we were not expecting such a perfect execution of one of our favourite dishes. The noodles were perfectly al dante and the sauce had the right balance of sweet and spicy.
The red curry was also very flavourful and came with my favourite bamboo shoots, peppers and tofu. The curry paired very well with coconut rice. The salad was very crunchy, fresh and flavourful.
Per my son, the beef was very good but a little more gravy would have amplified the flavours.’

One of the things I miss about living in Hong Kong was how frequent I could get to Thailand. Fortunately, Tiffin Thai is in town and I can get most of my favourites! Very flavourful, great portions, good service, and the delivery guy is super awesome. Just remember, add some spice to make it real. It adds to the flavour!

I have enjoyed every dish I’ve tried. The vegetable salad rolls have become a craving that keeps me coming back. I will continue to try a new main dish every visit before I pick a favorite. Staff are always kind and accommodating.

We’ve been to Thailand a few times and have had some excellent food there! This restaurant is just as good as any of the places we’ve enjoyed in Thailand. Everything I have tried at Tiffin has been excellent. The larb is my current favorite! I also love the green curry and my partner loves the drunken noodles (among many items there!)
