A cool local bar. our waiter/bartender was so sweet wish I could remember her name. We had mozzarella sticks, dirty tater tots, and teriyaki garlic wings. Portions were big ! Flavor on point. We had Jack and cokes that were perfect ! May not look like anything when you walk in, but don’t judge a book by its cover! I almost did, and I’m glad I didn’t. The tables had all New york sports teams. Sorry, I missed that because I would have picked the Knicks one, lol. Thank you for a great time and great bar food.

I’ve been to this bar twice and twice I’ve been disappointed. I had high hopes because so many people speak highly of this place, not sure what they experienced but this wasn’t true for me. My first experience was for a quick beer, ordered a beer on tap, nothing fancy and immediately knew something was off about the taste of the beer but I drank it and left upon completion. My second chance I decided to grab a drink and some food, but let me tell you was I disappointed… I again ordered the same beer as my previous visit giving the benefit of the doubt and yet again it was flat and sour. I’ll give credit to the bartender and server who by the way was the only worker in-site for the whole bar, who noticed I hadn’t had my beer and offered another suggesting he knew the beer wasn’t popular and had complaints before. Upon obtaining my second beer I took a sip and to my disgust was an indescribable green/brown blob. I wish I could tell you what it was but to my dismay I’m not sure if it was a bug, mold, or snot. I was so disgusted my stomach churned and wanted to throw up. My immediate thought was to ask for water but at that point I trusted nothing that didn’t come from a sealed bottle. I ordered boneless wings, something so simple how can you screw up, I mean cmon I was expecting them to come from a bag frozen, but geez what did I receive… battered chicken cutlets cut into thin pieces that were so tough it was like jerky. The menus were made on excel and printed covered by the staples store plastic paper protectors, and the specials were written in sharpie on a paper and photo copied. Listen I don’t mind this from a place undergoing a revamp, or to put on newly added menu items, but for a place that has been around a long time it’s just plain embarrassing to not have actual menus. This place may have been a great bar at one time but it’s clear to me the owners have given up as it’s in dire need of updating, repairs and a total cleaning.

Solid 3 stars. Food is OK. Beers were ok. Decor is OK. Bartender was GREAT. Saving grace of the French Onion Soup was the cheese.

Food is actually elite. It’s bar food so don’t expect gourmet cuisine but measured up to other bar food this place is definitely heads and shoulders above other spots in the area. The setup is dope for watching a game. Just not as lively and gives the appearance of a dive spot (could use a little tlc inside) The patio out back is nice though. Giant screen with the game in, plenty of room for picnic tables and cornhole.1.

Depending on the crowd you like it’s a very laid-back place to hang out and watch a football game or baseball game. It is a very welcoming environment. Margaret is the best.

It’s a laid back local watering hole with friendly vibes and excellent bar fare. Every time we’ve come in the bartender was a gem, always engaging, attentive and fun. It’s a sports heavy spot and whatever game you want to watch will always be on. The burgers are something you’re gonna crave when you aren’t there and the wings hit the spot. Happy to have found this place.

Perfect and delicious. I’m reluctant to share how much I love it because I don’t want it to become crazy popular. It’s a neighborhood hangout and the grill chef and bartender and servers are fabulous. The burger never fails to be cooked exactly as you ordered it and the onion rings are the best around. Don’t ignore the nachos, either.

I’ve driven by this place for the past 10 years and I’m kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. It’s probably one of the most friendliest and welcoming bars/restaurant I’ve been to in town. From the second my friend and I walked in people were saying hi and were being helpful and they didn’t even work there they were regulars who noticed a new face. So nice. Now let me talk about Claire our waitress who was freaking amazing, seriously what a sweet soul. We chatted for a while about our travels and our love for Ireland and their Guinness. She was the best and even bought us a round. So needless to say the beer was nice and cold. We had several appetizers that were delicious. The teriyaki garlic wings are a must. So glad we stopped in and will definitely be back.
