This is a great pace for lunch in the upscale Manhattan Beach restaurant, bar, and shopping area. Great breakfast and brunch options and I loved my “open faced” sandwich for lunch (turkey, bacon and avocado). Also loved the lemon that comes to you in a mini-pitcher! Solid service. Eat inside or outside.

Many families with small children are eating indoor on a Sunday morning at this Manhattan Beach location. On a sunny and slightly cool breezy morning we chose to eat breakfast outdoors under umbrella coverings. Food choices eye appealing; I devoured a chicken tartine (open face sandwich) while my company enjoyed sunny side up eggs choice. Coffee is very good here! I would definitely return for other menu choices.

Came for an easy brunch, ordered the chicken avocado tartine (good but a bit dry) and side of avocado and smoked salmon (both very fresh) snd a basket of fresh backed baguette with their delicious jams and spreads they give for free to the customers table. The highlight of this cafeteria is their patio, well spread out, shaded and in the middle of the MB vibe Our server Marshall was polite and attentive, great positive radiant energy all the way, sorry to say he unfortunately had to deal with that nasty lady with the two kids next to us. She was over the edge rude, kept on her cellphone sending to us neighbor tables glare of his device hit by the sun rays without caring less. I wish the manager would’ve addressed the situation when she and her boy kid got into that uncomfortable argument . Beside her, i would recommend this place easy parking underground too.

I came here for breakfast with a friend. The egg skillet I got was okay, I feel like it was too simple for the price. The iced coffee I got was okay too, a bit watery. It wasn’t bad, but i don’t believe I’ll come here again. Good location though! And the atmosphere was cute.

Le Pain Quotidien has a great vibe to it, with indoor bench seating, to outdoor seating covered in umbrellas. It can get very busy and lively here, and it makes for great people watching if you sit outside. The food and customer service is a bit hit or miss. Some days service is quick, other days you need to get up to grab someone. The food falls in the same category – I’ve had amazing food there and then decent food. On the flip side, the beverages are fantastic. This place has organic and handmade bread, and the bread is delicious.
Pro tip – if you like hot chocolate, do yourself a favour and order the one here. It’s amazing!!!

A lovely French boulangerie/café with freshly baked goodies and a relaxing vibe. From the ocean breeze to the open, airy space and the smell of fresh pastries, everything feels warm and inviting. It’s just a few steps away from the Manhattan Beach Pier, making it a perfect spot to grab a croissant and coffee before or after a beach walk.
Parking can be a bit tricky, but there are metered spots available on the nearby streets. Totally worth a visit for a calm and tasty beachside café experience.

The cookie was excessively hard and borderline inedible. I’d also appreciate knowing what type of chocolate is used in the pastries so I can avoid it in the future—the pain au chocolat was especially disappointing. Overall, this was a $40 letdown. Coffee was meh.
Employees are super nice though xoxoxo

Decent but not anything special for the price. They have a great outdoor seating area, but the chairs are pretty uncomfortable and it wouldn’t hurt to add some covers. I ordered the bacon and scallion skillet which was small and the eggs were overcooked. I also had the homemade lemonade and iced tea which was pretty good but nothing to come back for. I also had multiple servers but none at the same time. They never came to check on my food and after sitting for awhile after finishing I had to wave someone over for my check.
