I ordered Avocado toast and my friend had Egg gauda sandwich. The food was fresh n delicious. I feel they were a bit pricy though. Each plate cost about $10. Really?

I wouldn’t recommend visiting Owensboro if you don’t take time to come to Niko’s Bakery.
Can you hear the crunch of this crispy crossaint? It’s positively heavenly.

The food is great. I got a breakfast sandwich and a coffee, they were both fantastic. When I went to order my food, the girl at the register seemed very irritated and annoyed to be helping me and other costumers. I felt very out of place, and unwanted. The name on my receipt is Chelsea, she has glasses and had her hair pulled back. The only reason I’m including this, is because there was another employee with two toned hair in pigtails and she was very kind and welcoming, I did not catch her name though.

this is my first visit to this place, and I have to say they have not disappointed at all. I went with the avocado BLT. I had narrow the search down to three different sandwiches, but I thought I’m just gonna go for it. The bread has some sort of butter on it that just melts in your mouth. The avocado is smashed perfectly and the bacon taste amazing. I did order the potato salad but unfortunately they were out I went with the salt and vinegar chip, which is always a win. I also ordered some chicken salad to go just to try that. I have been told nothing but great things and I understand why. We did try the macaroon. It was a good flavor, bacon, and hot honey! How can you go wrong with that? I cannot wait to come back and try something new. This place will definitely be in the rotation!

Update: I just noticed on the wall that they have a very cool community lead. Take one if you need one buy one if you can pay it forward program. So sweet!
Original: Man!!!! The Blueberry lemon scone was amazeballs!! The drip coffee is also fabulous and I was at first sad because their espresso machine was down for the day. Didn’t need it cause their medium roast drip coffee was stout and smooth. Will be coming back many many many times. Love the local art too!

This is an absolute gem of Owensboro Great food: homemade breads, meat smoked in house, seasonally locally sourced greens and things. Great service: friendly, fast, fantastic. Great atmosphere: vibrant and colorful, supporting local artists, selling local jams/honey, etc. By far the best place in town. We need more places like Niko’s!

Niko’s is one of the best bakeries in the world…at least the places I have been. The food, the service, the ambience are impeccable. This time, my husband had a breakfast sandwich, and I had a cinnamon cluster and scone. In addition, I took home a chocolate croissant and had it the next day. It was still as delicious as I thought it would be.

The pastry offerings alone are worth the visit. But wait there’s more. Housemade fresh breads you say, fresh croissants, orginal local art, fantastic sandwich offerings and oh geez the breakfast sammys. Just get in here and find out for yourself. ✌️

One of the top spots in Owensboro for exceptional sandwiches, coffee, and desserts. The sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant seasoned with everything bagel seasoning was particularly impressive. The Nutella iced coffee was delightful, and all the desserts were equally enjoyable.
