This weekend my wife and I tried hotdogs from the Alamo Hotdog Cart, and it was one of the best stand dogs I’ve ever had! I ordered the chili cheese dog with mustard, ketchup, and grilled onions — absolutely delicious. After finishing it, I realized I should’ve ordered two! Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

This hotdog stand is by far the best in the entire San Antonio downtown area. Honestly, this man needs to go ahead and claim his rightful title as The AlamoDog King . If you’re even thinking about buying one, let me save you the trouble—get two. Trust me, future-you will be grateful.
He’s serving up footlong Vienna grilled dogs that hit different. The toppings? A whole lineup. A buffet. You can build your dog like it’s your personal masterpiece. And if you need a little extra, he’s got chips, drinks , the whole setup.
Location? Perfect. If you’re staying at The Embassy or Drury Inn, you’re literally a 5-minute walk from hotdog heaven. Don’t play yourself—swing by, grab a dog (or two), and thank The AlamoDog King for his service to humanity.

Hot dogs here are excellent! The owner is local and super nice. He makes the links in house and has several toppings to choose from. Go try Alamo Hot Dog Co next time you are in downtown SA.

Delicious hotdogs, perfect for the after party. When we arrived there was a long line and the service was a bit slow but totally worth it. The hot dogs have a good size and are packed with sauces. Prices are accessible and they accept cards and cash.

The guys running the stand were great and cooking to order in rapid pace to keep up with the steady crowd. (Also wearing an awesome One Piece shirt I may add) Definitely coming back next time we are in SA.

These hotdogs are amazing!!! Bacon wrapped and served with grilled onions, how can you go wrong?! The food was very hot and the people are so nice! Please stop here if you like hotdogs! You will not regret it. Next time I am in San Antonio I am definitely stopping here.
