Frost Coffee atmosphere is so low key. Great for chats and school. People are so warm and welcoming! Coffee is my preferred taste and is one of the best in the metro. Sandwichs were kinda weak but it is a coffee shop.

I frequent Frost for in-person meetings or just to work somewhere other than my home office. The staff are always super kind and welcoming. Their scones are delicious, and I also really love their protein bites when they have them. The seating is really cozy with plenty of power outlets if you’re there to work. Just as a personal thing, I enjoy that they play worship music. It’s a nice touch. I enjoy some other coffee shops in LS but this one is a little calmer and quieter.

How have I not seen or heard of this place? I walk by often. It’s adorable inside. So so so cozy and inviting. The design is so nice. And there’s even a private meeting room I’m assuming you can reserve or rent for business meetings? There is cozy sitting areas and work tables. A good fit for everyone. The drinks were yummy. The staff was younger so not super bubbly or welcoming and just sort of stayed to themselves. But that is ok bc it’s a relaxed environment. They answered questions when I asked and service was quick. In a super great spot in downtown Lees Summit.

Stopped here during a severe downpour and waited out the storm. It was pretty deserted for 5pm. I selected a Lucky Charms latte and a very flaky pastry. Only cost $5 something! It has a casual modern vibe with lots of lights and minimal decor. The flower on each table was a nice touch. I will definitely try more lattes from here.

PROs: Great location. Indoor seating. Cozy ambience. I can’t say my coffee was good. The gentleman that took my order was friendly and knew what a Breve was.
CONs: The Barista apparently doesn’t know what a Breve is. What you see in the photo is what I got for my coffee AND it was served cold. Street parking only.
I ordered a decaf Breve. What I got was a cold decaf coffee with half-n-half in a cup on a cold day. I could’ve just done that myself.

I really wanted to like this place. I heard it was a Christian based coffee shop and as a Christian myself I love to support openly Christian businesses. I was also given a gift card. But unfortunately the couple of times I’ve gone in there the past month, I have had horrible customer service. So bad that I feel so uncomfortable ordering and just want to leave. I walk in and I look at the menu searching for something for me and my toddler to snack on and a latte for myself. I’m the only one standing by the counter to order and I’m not even welcomed with a hello. I’m literally just stared at, very uncomfortable. I finally break the silence and kindly mention it was my first time there. Still not met with even a smile or a suggestion on what’s good. So awkward. I hurried up and just ordered something but I felt like I was a bother to her. Me and my kids sit down and eat and I did like the atmosphere. There was quiet Christian music playing and I loved the the big windows. My latte was standard, sandwhich was eh but I don’t expect much from a coffee shop. A couple weeks later I stop in again. Me, my husband and kids were walking around downtown and I wanted to stop in to get a hot latte to go then continue our walk. I walk up to the counter and im immediately met with “we close in 8 minutes”. I brushed it off and kindly just said “okay I’m just getting a latte to go!”. I genuinely didn’t know they were about to close but there were still lots of people in there that’s why I went in. But I also knew i was just getting a single drink to go. She never even said hi. I get informing customers on closing time but it just wasn’t in a kind way and once again I felt very unwanted there and like I just bothered them. As I waited a couple minutes for my drink, a few ladies walked in to get drinks to go. As they walk in I watched the 2 baristas look at eachother like they were very irritated and one loudly mentioned how she was about to lock the doors. Like I said, I get needing to close. I was a barista for a while at a corporate coffee shop but you don’t need to make people feel uncomfortable. Anyways. I know owners usually read these reviews that’s why I’m leaving this. Not to be a complainer. But please talk to your staff and maybe retrain on customer service. The attitudes of your workers really kill the vibes there. I don’t like whistle stop lattes as much but I’ll choose them over your shop any day because the workers are very nice.

I’d heard stories about Jack Frost donuts from friends of mine. I can finally find out how good they are. They are delicious!! My coffee is very flavorful. I will be trying more of the menu options here. Definitely worth trying.
Back for more!
1/14. Butterscotch latte and the Summit breakfast sandwich.
Finally, I have what I guess could be a criticism. Their sandwiches would be amazing with an over medium egg. I understand the difficulty of this, but the flavor!!!!

I was super excited to see an extensive tea menu as most breakfast shops are focused on coffee. However I was incredibly disappointed to find that none of the young kids working behind the counter knew how properly make them.
My tea, and my husbands tea were awful. Brutally awful. We threw them away after a sip or two. This is a heavy detail as my husband refuses to waste food. But we threw $10 straight in their trash can.
A LATTE (chai tea latte) is supposed to be predominantly milk. Ours were 90% water with a splash of milk, and wayyy too much spice.
My husband got a London Fog Latte that was almost majorly water.
My breakfast sandwich did not come with the sauce that was requested and they also completed our order by putting it on the pick-up shelf when dine in was specified so we waited 20 minutes and had to ask where our food was.
Ultimately, it’s a cute location, but they’re not making the beverages or food in the proper way so there’s no point in returning for me.

Went on a busy Saturday afternoon. Was able to have lunch, even though I was gluten-free because they had options which was fantastic. The sandwich was large and didn’t fall apart.
As a non-coffee drinker, I was able to have options and still get some fun drinks like the Nitro Arnold Palmer.
We sat at the counter, but there was plenty of seating, and even an additional conference room, and lots of people having mini book clubs, or studying or working on their computers.
